I called around shopping prices and services. I reached Olympus who's sales department spoke and understood English perfectly. I was quoted a price and garunteed quality packing careful loading and insurance on my belongings. I was then told that there was a 3-5 business day travel time for my belongings from Ben Salem PA- Las Vegas NV. The movers arrived 5 young men none of which even remotely spoke english and one "supervisor" who did. they packed the truck and I must at this point say I have packed trucks for well over 2 decades and know square footage exceptionally well, I was then led down to the truck where they showed me that my estimated 1300 square foot was truly 2700 square foot. I said to them no way I counted my boxes, which I purchased from Uhaul and they had the square footage printed on them, my bed my sofa and my freezer; YES thats it. As we went upstairs to my apt and I was offered the "HOOKUP" to only charge me for 2500 sq ft the truck pulled off. I discussed with the mgr on the phone who still spoke perfect english she assured me that any discrepancies would be rectified and the difference returned at my door in 3-5 business days. I had no choice my lease was up and I had to vacate the apt that day. My family arrived in Vegas stayed in a hotel for the 5 business days then prepared to meet the truck at my home. Needless to say when I arrived and called the company to find out what time my belongings would arrive I was told they wouldnt be here for an additional 4-5 business days. I told the now barely understanding english individual that I was told 3-5 business days he told me that "I am lying no one could have told me that" I asked him what his name was he then could no longer understand me so he chose to hang up. I called back and said if my property was not delivered to me that day Id call the police and report it stolen then he puts me on with his "manager" who tells me to look on the paperwork and see what it says I read it and it says 3-5 business days his response was o someone must have made a mistake. 5 days later i get a phone call from a russian gentleman telling me that the truck would be to my home at 9pm the truck pulls up at 10:30pm 2 gentlemen exit the truck one gentleman immediately pulls out the paperwork and asks to be paid in cash an additional $1000 which was the difference in the over priced lie that the packers put as sq ft I say no sir your company over charged me and said that the difference would be refunded to me at the time my furniture arrived. he speaks with the other person in russian then turns makes a call comes back and hands me the phone this is exactly what was said to me, "You have to pay for your items to be unloaded or they will be kept and sold" My response was no sir they will not you will unload my property. The driver of the truck then explains to me in very broken english that I paid Olympus well over $1500 but he didnt work for olympus he was just some poor schlub paid to haul my property. He then pulled out his paperwork and showed a clause on it that stated that the "balance" must be paid to driver before any item will be unloaded from the truck. I paid it at this point im like Ill let the law take care of these crooks I just want my stuff so I can sleep in my own bed instead of the air mattress that I had to buy. The driver asks me to sign the form saying 1 that I received all my property and 2 that it was all in the same shape as when they packed it. I refused I instructed them to unload the truck right there and I would check the contents and the condition of them. boxes were smashed and broken my BRAND NEW $3000 cal king sleepys bed was destroyed mattress was crushed and had developed a permanent lump in the middle. The box spring had a hole in it. Lastly there were a few boxes missing. the driver goes down the check list and says ok everything is here sign here I said no its not pointed out what was missing and damaged and signed the formed not where it says everything is ok but somewhere else and listed all items missing and or broken. I called the company to complain and now no one in the company is able to help me. This company is full of fake thieving fraudulent scam artists. They still have not made restitution for the damages and only returned one of my missing bags. I truly do believe that what you do to others will come back to you. So im warning others so you dont have this experience. They are NOT professional. They do NOT honor thier word. They do NOT honor their contract. They are thieves, liars, hustlers, con artists of the highest magnitude. There is no feeling quite as vulnerable as having your life's possessions being held hostage by a domestic terrorist. thats the word that best describes them domestic terrorists. No they dont blow things up or kill people directly; but in this economy when 50 dollars no longer fills your tank extorting thousands of dollars from regular hard working customers who were depending on you to make their life a little easier is no less an act of terror.

I was very nervous about moving as I had some expensive pieces and some newly purchased furniture. I hired Olympus Moving & Storage based upon feedback I received from friends.
I spoke to Erica who was very friendly, helpful and quick in getting me a price quote. On the actual moving day the movers, Luis, Adrian, Ely, and Anthony, were right on time. The piece that I was most worried being moved, a VERY LARGE solid wood armoire, was handled quickly and easily. Most of the pieces were wrapped to avoid damages. A bonus was that they were able to move my dressers with the clothing still in them, they simply wrapped them up with the plastic wrap to secure the drawers.
I had to do a two-part move from an apartment to a storage unit and from the storage unit to the new apartment. The movers were friendly, courteous, quick, and efficient. The whole experience was easy and hassle free. I would absolutely recommend them and will be using Olympus Moving & Storage in the future. The experience was pleasant and professional from start to finish - 5 Stars! |

I was unsure about hiring movers since it seems a bit excessive, but I had a very short time frame to get out and settled in. Thank goodness my friend Chris recommended Olympus Moving and Storage. They did a great job at an amazing price.
I have moved a few times during the last 12 years but this was by far the best experience ever. It was a large job consisting of various pieces of heavy and large furniture’s and to make it even more difficult, the day of the move the weather did not cooperate at all. It was raining the entire day, nonstop with continuous rain but that did not affect the job of the movers. Olympus Movers were very professional and careful with all my belongings taking extra care to wrap everything so that the rain would not ruin anything. They were fast, efficient and unbelievable in the attention to detail. I am not eager to move again anytime soon but if I had to, I would definitely not think twice about hiring Olympus Moving and Storage again.
Luis, Anthony & Ely were FANTASTIC!! They made moving bearable. I was very thankful for the extra care they took in handling all my possessions. I can't express how amazing Olympus Moving and Storage were!!! |

This was the first time I ever hired professional movers and I have to say it was worth every penny. My previous experience was quite traumatic but that's what I get for not hiring the pros.

Other moving companies I contacted wanted to charge a deposit, plus an extra fee to pay with a credit card and extra fees to stretch/shrink wrap furniture. With Olympus Moving, you don't get nickel and dime. They give you the price up front with no hidden costs.
On moving day, Olympus Movers gave me a courtesy phone call letting me know they were en route and they arrived 10 minutes early and were ready to go. The movers were professional, polite, and overall had very pleasant and friendly personalities.

However, with the professionalism of Olympus Movers my move was made a lot smoother. The movers that help me moved were very friendly and polite. They were professional and very careful with all of my belongings. They knew how to properly lift and carry my heavy furniture’s. They also knew how to properly arrange things in the truck.
Therefore there was no damage done which made me exceptionally happy. The rate I was given was a reasonable and fair price. There were no extra charges or hidden fees for anything. Also the trucks they used to transfer my belongs were clean and sturdy. I would definitely say that this was a good decision and Olympus Moving & Storage is a fantastic moving company so I would highly recommend using them to anyone.

This was my second time using movers, so I knew what to expect. I had called around to at least 5 different moving companies to get the best bid for my move.
What stuck out the most to me with Olympus Moving and Storage was that they had a professional looking website, and the quote that was sent to me was professional. From everyone else I had received everything from just a verbal quote, to just a plain text format quote - I know all of that sounds irrelevant, but when you're dealing with your possessions, you want to make sure you are working with a real professional and legit business.
With all of that being said, I didn't have to haggle at all with Olympus Moving and Storage, and I even spoke to them a couple of times because they wanted to confirm all of my information and make sure everything was ready on my side. I appreciated the extra effort and the professional nature of the company.
The moving experience was great. Olympus’ movers wrapped my couches and all of my furniture’s in plastic wrap and moving blankets so that they wouldn't get scratched or damaged. They were wonderful, friendly and they came in their Olympus Moving uniforms, so you can tell that they weren’t just guys hired off the street. I know some of my comments are pretty random, but I'm always skeptical of movers because of the crazy stories you hear!
Great moving company. They were careful with all my items and were very fast. Having Olympus Moving and Storage move me was well worth the money. I hope I don't move again soon but if I do I am calling these guys again! |

I decided to go with Olympus Moving and Storage because of all the five star reviews. After my move I can absolutely see why they've gotten such awesome reviews! I had a short notice regarding my move so I needed to find movers and fast. I booked my move with Olympus Moving and Storage about a week in advance and all my communications with them were great. They got back to me with a quote right away, and every time I called their office they were super helpful and friendly.
Olympus Movers got to my house right at the scheduled time and called half an hour before they got there to let me know they were on their way. They were so careful moving all the furniture’s, and made sure not to scrape any of the walls. When they arrived to my new house, they even moved a washer and dryer downstairs that I wasn't going to be using since I had my own. Once they moved mine upstairs though, they realized that my dryer had the wrong electrical hookup. So they moved my dryer back downstairs, and moved the other dryer back upstairs for me. Olympus Moving and Storage were so helpful and the quote that they gave me before the move was exactly what I paid for my move. No hidden fees, charges, etc. I would absolutely recommend Olympus Moving and Storage to anyone looking for movers!!! HIRE THESE GUYS THEY ARE THE BEST!! |

We recently made a long distance move and needed someone to unload our truck once we got to the new house. I contacted Olympus Moving and Storage online and got a response from Sarone almost immediately. He answered all my questions and he was very helpful. When we arrived here the movers called ahead of time to let us know that they were on their way and once they were here they worked fast and efficiently. | Olympus Moving and Storage were great. They helped us move two apartments in the city and really helped take the stress from us. They were fast, efficient, and thorough. Typically I would be worried to let movers move my beautiful cream-colored couches and matching chairs - in fear of dirt markings, etc., but Olympus Movers took good care of my stuff as if it were their own. Thanks Olympus Moving and Storage and thank you Chris for hooking a girl up. I will definitely recommend you to anyone/everyone I know who needs a good, solid moving company. |
