officialtoryburch.com officialtoryburchshoes.com Scammed wife for $200 Beijing, China Internet

Do not buy from this site, it is a scam!!! The website is a replica of the toryburch.com website, you can tell because the "Follow us on the web" link in the bottom right hand corner does not work. Wife bought $200 worth of bags on this site, which advertises at 50% off. After ordering, she did not receive any reply for a week, so she emailed them at [email protected]. This is the reply she got (NOTE - the bad grammar): "Dear friend, Thank you for your order on our website, Sorry for the delay. I have emailed and called you that the bags you want are out of stock. But there was no one answer. Sorry for the hot season of the Tory Burch bags. We have search the bags again and aganin all the time. Can you do a replacement for the bags/ We can do the best discount for you. Sorry again. Hoping your early reply. Thank you Anne" When wife replied stating that she did not want to choose a replacement, and wanted to cancel the order, this was the response she got: "Dear friend, Thank you for your order on our website all the same. Sorry for the delay. Ok, I'll do the return for you within 1 weeks. Ok? And you have to pay the handing fees $20. Thank you very much. Anne Payment Company name: Dafu Jewelry Limited CO., LTD.

I agree this is a scam! I contacted their customer support system because they lied about their website. After a couple days they responded to me. The online otal was $139.99 but charged $140.33 on my bank account.

The emailed me from the same hotmail account. Also on my bank account they transaction is read as WWW.MCELEONE.COM BEIJING and I have never visited that site. They said they were part of Titan Trading Co. As soon as I tried to tell them that I was cancelling payment with my bank they emailed repeatedly and called me even.

But as soon as the shoes came in which I couldn't cancel because Janey (the somewhat fluent English speaker of their scam business) said the shoes had already been shipped. They are fake by the way which was no surprise to me. As soon as I tired to get a legitimate return address they stopped responding. The bank can't file anything if they give you a product.

Such a scam!

Also, www.toryburchshoes.com seem to have the exact same website copied as well. So I advise to treat them both the same. If you want to see if it is a legitimate designer site always check the contact. They should list the phone number and email with the website after the @ symbol. Contact them too if you want to verify that it is legitimate.

I got hit with a $120.06 charge to my credit card from hotgauze.com-beijing. Turns out it is linked to http://www.mceleone.com, so be aware that there's yet another company name to this scam.
