Ocwen Wont accept my payment!! Internet |

My husband recently got sick and had to have a unexpected surgery. He was off work for three months due to the illness and lack of work available. I got the letter with stating that the house was in foreclosure. My husband is back to work and received a annual bonus. I also currently work full time. So I contacted ocwen to find out how much I needed to send to get my loan out of foreclosure. The first amount was 5200.00. The Ocwen representative recommended I use Western Union. When trying to send the amount, I could only send 5000.00 thru western union (they're daily limit) and 200.00 thru money gram. The Ocwen representative told me to call back in 2 business days to verify the funds were collected. I called back on that friday and the Ocwen representative said that I actually needed to send 6520.00 and that Ocwen had already rejected my payments and they were sent back to western union and money gram. After discussing wtih the operator how the amount was incorrect when told to me, she said that if I sent the remainder of 1320 in the next 2 business days and resent the western union/money gram, that on Monday everything should be current. I sent the 1320 on Saturday western union, I tried resending the money gram and western union, but Both Western union and money gram said that Ocwen hasn't returned the money. On Monday I called into Ocwen and told them that I had sent the 1320 on saturday and asked why the 5200 was still not showing on my account. The operator then advised my that the finacial department had reject the 5200 and sent it back to western union and money gram. When checking with money gram, the 200.00 was returned. But when checking with western union, the 5000.00 was not returned. I called ocwen to see where my 5000.0 was and they said it was already returned. After telling them it wasn't returned, the operator said that they have 3 to 5 days before they even have to tell a reference number they used to return the 5000.00. I find it interesting that they returned my 200.00 no problem, but my 5000.00 is still in their bank collecting interest. They did tell, me that the reason they didn't accept my payments, was because it has to be sent in ONE LUMP SUM!!!!! Even though I had all the payments in, they will not recoginize it unless it is sent in one lump sum. |
