NutraSlim, UK |
NutraSlim, UK, LTD QuickDetox Company would not accept a return for a refund. Poor customer service. Internet, Nationwide |
9th of May, 2011 by User483791 |
To whom it may concern: This letter is to complain about service I recently received from the NutraSlim customer service department. I recently purchased both NutraSlim and QuickDetox products via online (order numbers 3952 and 3989). I took the products as directed for three days and then I became violently ill for two whole days. I have no known medical issues. I attempted to take the product again thinking that maybe it was 24 hour flu but unfortunately the products once again made me ill. I called NutraSlim customer service department on May 4, 2011 to find out how to deal with the problem Ive had with NutraSlim and QuickDetox. After I had been on hold for several minutes, a representative came on the line. I had to explain my problem to him several times because he did not seem to be listening and therefore asked me the same questions repeatedly. I was then put on hold for several minutes waiting to speak with a manager, and then he returned to say he could not help me. Needless to say, I was quite frustrated. I expected a much higher level of service from your company, and I am quite disappointed. Because I do not want to spend any more time on this problem, I am requesting a full refund for the faulty products immediately. I will be informing my friends and family about this experience.

it is 11.45 I cannot believe that I did not find out this information before I fell for the trail crap. I prize myself on being careful I have rung and canceled my order to no avail. on the 2nd june I was charged 3.95 and 4.95 for nutraslim and detox, sent and email to cancel but on the 21st of June my account was charges 2 lots of £59.99 and 8 days late another 2 lots of £59.99 (£240.00) and no response to emails or letters. How have these people managed to get away with this. I was sucked in by the report from the newspaper girl that had lost weight I want to know why she has not gone public and said what a scam this is. No one can afford to lose so much money I feel so cheated and it is the first time I have bought something on line. My bank thinks they will be able to contact the company for me it is quite clear to them that this is a scam. I wonder if I could take the packages to the office in Wimbledon?
If someone does need to sign a petition I will gladly do so others need to know about this.. |

I received the same treatment. I purchased a trial for £4.95 and then a few weeks later they automatically took £59.99 out of my account without my consent. I have had a nightmare with them, . I also sent back the product through the post office and they have said they did not receive them back which is an absolute lie. This disgusting SCAM needs to be looked into and stopped as they still have not reimbursed me with my money and I have now gone through my Bank to investigate Nutra Slim. They are ignorant and rude and have no customer service skills whatsover. They never pick up the phone and everything is done through email. I am that close to going to the Trading Standards about these people and gettting them exposed for being thieves., I have had to cancel my card details so they do not take anymore money out of my account and I will argue this case through my bank as I am not going to let them get away with this.
Their terms and conditions were no-where to be seen on the £4.95 trial and they seem to make up their own rules as they go along. This needs to be stopped. |

Same as everyone else - charged beyond the 30 day trial, returned the goods and then charged another random amount of £1.95 x 2.
I have proof of signature, they have accepted the 1.95 x 2 overcharges were error (very big of them) and yet what a suprise I am still over £124 out of pocket.
Absolute scam - I will be contacting my bank & citizens advice later today to find out where I stand but I paid on debit card and a little worried I cannot stop them.
Changing the bank account info may not even work and it is one massive hassle - I have had the same account details for over 15 years.
Why and how are thy allowed to get away with this. |

The nutraSlim and Quick Detox scam and unauthorized Credit Card Charges!
My nightmare began on Friday the 13th of May 2011 after clicking on the following
advert:
http://www.womenshealth.com-2.tv/report/hca-diet-exposed-ukz-fb9.php?t202id=2348&t202kw=5_whealth1_uk_40_64_20
This advert was originally displayed on the right hand column of facebook and featured
an endorsement with British TV celebrity Cheryl Cole. On the original link there were
also glowing testimonials from an American TV company called Channel 8.
Very similar to this one:
http://chan-8-news.com/healthy/? t202id=6212t202kw=9&referer=www.facebook.com.
The original advert consisted of offering one free sample bottle of NutraSlim plus P&P £4.95
And one free sample bottle Quick Detox plus P&P £3.95
Hours after ordering the free samples, I noticed that the original advert and link had become suddenly ‘dead’
Something didn’t feel right and so I instantly emailed the company requesting a cancellation of the order and a full refund for the postage and package totaling £8.80
I received two emails from the company with RMA numbers stating that
“This email is being sent to confirm that your account has been canceled.
You will no longer receive any charges or shipments”
Thinking that this would be the last of the matter, I emailed them again, requesting my postage and package refund costs. The money was never refunded.
The following week, I received two sample bottles through the post. They remain unopened and unused. From doing further online research, I discovered that many people had become ill from using the products and
further unauthorized credit card charges had been taken from peoples
accounts!
This morning I received my bank statement and was absolutely horrified to discover that a further £123.88 has been taken from my account!
I got onto my bank immediately about it.
So far this company owes me £132.68 and the fight has only just begun!
According to their emails the Company address is:

NutraSlim

With the many thousands of complaints that can be found on the internet,
Why are facebook allowing such companies to still advertise?
Today is the 8th of July 2011, and the company still owe me a refund of £132.68 |

Yes, I agree with the all the other customers on this site. Ultraslim and quickdetox are a scam. They keep holding you on and dont reply to emails so you cant get your money back. Cancel your card and file a complaint with your bank and card. Report them to bbc watchdog. Unbelievable how they are still getting away with this. They have take £240.00 out of my account when all I wanted was the £3.95 trial. What a joke!!! |

hi there I have also had the simliar experience to you all, got the trial bottles sent to me but decided after the first few day of taking them it was not for me, I went onto their websie a week after recieving the tablets to cancel the orders of any further tablets to be sent to me, I thought this would be the end of the problem but subsequently found out that they had debited my account for 2 x lots of £29.99. I went back onto their site and the cancellation process had indeed changed with all these extra hoops to jump through, request for an RMA# send the packages back to an address in Ireland, clearly write the RMA# on the packet, postage of course I have to pay to return their products that i never wanted in the first place.
I recieved on the 12th an email from them to say a refund was being processed and that it would be in my account in 5-7 business days, still have not recieved the refund, I emailed support and got a really confusing email that made no sense what so ever, saying it the refund was being processed and it will start to be procedded in 7-10 days and it could be processed either the end of this week or next week or the latter part of the week after!!! Basically garbage for its gonna take ages!
Rang neutraslim today and told them all this and the guy on the end of the phone tells me the company is going into administration and its going to take 5-6 weeks at least to get you refunds back! GREAT!!! He said they are unfortunately taking a while to get through the returns, i'm not holding out much hope that I will ever see the money again! |

I ordered the free trial, on reading back of containers decided I could'nt take it for health reasons. I phoned and cancelled and was told to return said containers which I did, unopened and not a pill taken.
Then I found that they had taken £136 from my bank account. I phoned and was left on hold forever then told they could'nt help. Finally wrote and sent proof of postage and as I had to cancel my debit card in case they took any more money from me, asked for a refund by cheque. This letter cost £5.40 as it was to0 be signed for. A month later they have not even acknowledged it. They are a disgrace as they do not even answer e-mails. As far as I am concerned someone is using people as money machines, money in someones pocked and out of mine, all for nothing and they will have sent my unopened ones to some other poor soul and collected even more money.

Has anyone actually received a refund from this disgraceful company? I too was scammed for 2 x £59.99 transactions before the trial period had ended back in June, plus the original trial payments of £3.95 & £4.95. I had a few responses back from the ticketing system claiming my bank and their bank were still in communications, but since I have started hassling for the refund, there seems to be no response. The original sites and products I ordered have conveniently now been replaced by alternative products. I have had to stop my debit card, but will now report to the Fraud team. Anyone had any luck in getting to actually speak to a person at the company, or have a contact I could use? |

Dam I'm the only trusting fool!
It is appalling that companies like this can get away with such a scam, preying on innocent individuals.
Yes we must all act together to stop any further fraud and to protect the public. If anyone out there has contact with the media, please use your contacts and see if we can blow this outfit to kingdom come.
I have just looked on Companies House and Nutraslim is a UK registered company!
Their registered office address is;
The Old Exchange
12 Compton Road
Wimbledon
SW19 7QD
Their company registered number is 07461044
Status; Active
Date of incorporation 6/12/2010
Make sure you contact your bank or credit card company to alert them to this - they are 'FRADUSTERS' and need to be completely blacklisted.
Good luck guys, I'm down £120

I too have been conned by this firm, they wont respond to e-mails, except for a support team file opened, have tried ringing the numbers but nobody will answer the calls. Am currently banking with Barclays, and if they do know about this scam they seem very reluctant to help. I am in the process of closing my account and re-open a new account (takes 5 days to do apparently) then the payments should stop. Hoping they do however if they continue after this at least I can take the bank to task as I will not have authorised the payment from my new account.. Manxmunk |

Please could someone help me! I have been emailing, and trying to phone Nutraslim, with no replies! They are still sending me orders I do not want. They must be stopped. Can someone tell me what it comes out of the bank as? i.e. what do they call themselves when taking the money? Also, I can't find a customer ID number to cancel online! All the numbers I am trying are not accepted. What a scam, I wish there was a way of telling everyone before they sign up!! Hope to hear from some of you soon. |
