Scam free trial |

Same story as all the others for this these thieves. I have put a stop on our credit card. 2 x 59.99 taken from our account for unordered pills. How can the banking and credit card companies allow this abuse to go on. I am going to file a complaint with the police today, and contact the office for Fair Trading. |

I also signed up for the free trial of Nutraslim and was taken aback when I looked at my bank statement, but after a bit of research noted that unless you cancel within 14 days then you will be charged monthly and the tablets will keep on being sent. I have simply gone on their website, which is www.nutraslim.com and emailed the support team requesting that any future orders are cancelled, they issued a tracking ticket so I could see whether my request was being handled and, hey presto an hour or so later I got a reply stating that I would recieve no further orders or be charged. So I'm not sure that this IS a 'scam' just simply an oversight on my behalf and not cancelling within the 14 deadline. |

I ordered Nutraslim back in MAY and cancelled the tablets within the given time period, I also returned the additional tablets I had been sent in error. I am still yet to receive my refund and they are continuing to charge me on a monthly basis. I have sent numerous e-mails on a weekly basis and am still yet to receive a reply from anything other than an automated service. I have found this company and the service it provides completley un acceptable - I would suggest not bothering with Nutrasim. |

The same happened to me. They acknowledged that I will have to receive the refund as besides the 14 day trial period you have got a 30 day money back guarantee. However you have to return the containers full or empty... it doesn't matter in order to qualify for the refund. However since 2 months I am now wating for the refund. I threatened them with watchdog and court proceedings. However they don't refund me the money. A scam for sure everyone should be warned off. |

Be warned I to had two months of unauthorised payments taken from my account to the same value as above, returned the items at the beginning of July and not received a refund.I tried repeatedely to contact this company by phone and e.mail without luck until today.Spoke to a representative who told me my refund was in a Queue and would take 6 weeks, this is outrageous and unacceptable, I have written to Watchdog, informed my credit card company and will contact the police.
Never order a free trial as this clearly is a scam to obtain your credit card details to send a product you did not authorise and then not return the money even though they receive their product back. |

Be warned Nutrislim is now changed to Slimfuel.com. Just spoken to Margret in Ireland 11.55 am 18/08/2011. I keep being sent products, sometimes 2 bottles at a time and money taken from my account. I have sent numerous emails cancelling my order and to no avail. On the 29th July 2011 a payment was taken from my account and the product still not arrived. I have to send the product back before getting refund, but it looks as if I will not even get that back according to Juliejh. I have also told Margret that I will be contacting the police and I am on my way now to the bank to cancelling any more payments taken from my account. I have lost about £180.00 from this particular scam. I have been given the managing directors email address to try and get the money back. It is [email protected]. His name is Glen Arnolds.

HI, like Hilary - I also called today and the girl / man (couldnt work out who i was talking as had a very strange accent) told me they would refund my money and that the refund is in a queue which will be back in my account in 3wks, I doubt very much I will ever see my £180 refund.
I think if everyone who can write on here to warn people could also write to watchdog who can investigate, I've serached both Slim Fuel and Nutraslim who all american based companies. Been on the go since 2004 but keep changing their company name.
When something sounds too good to be true it ususlly is and this company has proved that!!
I hope everyone trying gets their money back!!

I too have had money taken from my account totalling £240. Pills never arrived after the first free samples. Money was being taken every two weeks. I spoke to an advisor with a strange accent who hung up on me and then my calls were never answered after that. I have emailed, no response. The bank have passed it ontp their fraud department, I too fear I will never see my money again. It was money we really couldn't afford to loose too. Good luck to everyone! |

I had exactly the same problem. I returned the free trial bottles after 'phoning them and obtaining the required reference numbers. One month later 2 x payments of £59.99 were taken from my credit card account even though I had not received any goods. When I 'phoned they asked if I had proof of posting (which I had lost). Explained situation and was told if I had no proof of posting then they would not refund my money. I told them I would be contacting my credit company and was told by a lady with an American accent "You do that!" Well, I did. I had the emails they had sent saying that my account was cancelled and I would no longer receive any orders. I sent these to my credit card company, who said that as the payments were taken out after these emails had been sent they would refund my money. They will also watch my account for three months for any further attempts by Nutraslim to take money from my account. I was lucky my card company were so good and that I had kept the emails. Perhaps this is the route to take for some of you other poor people who were also taken in by this scam. |
