We were telephoned by a William Mour that we had won 2 1/2 million dollars in a Sweepstake in the States. We had been evidently been sent a blue envelope in Jan., .(..may or may not??) I don't know.
...anyways we paid them $225 at Western Union, sent to a Larry Bruin at an address at Lakewood, Col., so we could prove we had the transfer # so they would meet us. Then they wanted $450 for the IRS as the $$ was coming out of the system, in the US...we knew by that time something was fishy...actually they said they would transfer the $ to my bank account but they needed a SIN, which we didn't give them. I did give them the bank account ##. But 1st called the bank.
This started about June 10th. Today if we go again, ( because fortunately the WU girl had put the $450 in my name at Austin, Tex. ...so that they WU will return to us) they are going to send a jet from Las Vagus from the Winner International, , American Cash Awards Pauout services 303-Carson St. to Calgary to bring the cheques to us . Thank you for your EAR!! We are STUPID |

In June I received a check for $15, 000 from International Award Payment Center 40 Armour Road N. Kansas City asking me to send $25 AUS to them to claim that prize. I sent the check and when I hadn't received my prize by last month I wrote to them. The other day I received a reply the details are: "I have just received your recent letter; we always enjoy hearing from our contestants. We appreciate your interest and participation in our contests of skill. I would like to remind you that you do not automatically (underlined) win any prize in our contests; all prizes are awarded on the basis of correct and top-scoring answers to increasingly difficult tiebreakers. No prize can be guaranteed (underlined) to you. We have awarded over $4 million in cash and prizes to people all the world. I am sorry that your experience with our company has not yet been rewarding. I hope we will see your name on one of our next winners lists. If you would prefer to discontinue your participation with our company, let me know. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Sincerely, Dyana L. Baker Customer Service"
I will no longer to sending anymore checks to this company or any other. |

It is astounding to what lengths people will go to scam the naive. They print up very official forms and include lots of statements and people send them money. Please, please folks - google the name of the company and put "scam" next to it and save your money!!! Please do not send these people anything. Look, if 1000 people send the, $25.00 - do the math!!! Don't fall for this BS! |
