Nice Guy Movers Not So Nice Guys stole my money Orlando, Florida
26th of Sep, 2011 by User353785
I scheduled a move for Sept 22, 2001. They required a deposit of $100, for an estimated move that would cost approximately $230. They had me electronically sign their 'agreement'. Apparently in the agreement of fine print there is a clause that states if you need to cancel your move you must do so within 7 days of your move date or you forfeit your deposit. I scheduled the move on Sept 15, 2011, exactly 7 days prior to the move date, thus eliminately the 7 day grace period. Due to unexpected circumstances I had to cancel the move and they are refusing to refund my deposit. I believe they owe me my $100 deposit back because their Grace Period clause was never an option for me, in addition to the fact that they never verbally mentioned it and had it buried in their fien print of an agreement.
