I recently purchased a Green Bay Packers jersey from nfl-offer.com for a Christmas gift. The website looks legitimate, including logos and trademarks for the NFL and Reebok. What is not clear is this website operates out of China and the items are shipped from China. This would be a major red flag, and you do not find that out until after you have paid for the item. After paying, I quickly realized this could be a scam, and within a half hour sent an email to the billing company requesting the order be canceled. A credit for the purchase price showed up on my credit card for a short time, but then was removed. The following day, nfl-offer sent me an email that said 1) My order had been canceled, but then 2) My order had been shipped. My expectation was the jersey would never arrive. The jersey did arrive quite quickly, but not surprisingly, it has major defects. The stitching is bad on the numbers, and worst of all, the player's name on the back is upside down! I have contacted the company via email, sent them a picture of the jersey, and requested a refund. No surprise, I have gotten no response. The NFL vigorously protects its logos and trademarks, so I am very surprised they are allowing this website to make them look bad without kicking up a big stink. Stay away from nfl-offer.com!
