net comm wireless solutions broked my microsoft zune device and still made me pay for it services. south gate, California |

(this "repair" company was suppose to fix my microsoft zune device from its audio jack and they claimed it "wasnt fixable.") I droped off my device on may 13, 2011 at the NET COMM WIRELESS SOLUTIONS in South Gate, i called in the same day i had droped off my microsoft zune device to figuere out if they were able to fix it, they told me that it dosent work that it appeared to be the motherboard because they put two different audio jacks and still had the same problem, i was told i can go pick up my device. Once i arrived to the location, i was told to pay $10 fee for them looking into it. I then paid for the fee beacuse i was aware and was also adviced when i droped off my device and given a ticket/receipt. i was then given my device back and informed why it wasnt able to be fixed (at this point i was never told that they had broken the motherboard), before i walked out the establishment i was checking my device and realiezed that the device wasnt turning off or can play/pause the device. i walked up to the associate and adviced him of the problem, he took the device of my hands and walked to the back. The associate returned and told me that the "technician" apparently broke part of the motheboard, and i asked him why wasnt i told about this and if i can get a new device from them or fix the motherboard. the associate then said it wasnt there problem anymore because those are the type of "risks" you take, when you take any type of equipment in for repair. I then told the associate that i was never told about thise "risks" and if i would of been told i would not have left my device with them so they can just break it, and there is no postings around in or outside there establishment warning or advicing there customers about thise "risks" and if there is any damage they arent responsible for the damages. i told the associate that i just preatty much took my device to them so they can break it and still pay for it? the associate replies that there isnt anything he can do and he canot give me my $10 back beacuse it took the technician an hour and a half to work on it. I wasnt pleased on this action i wasnt even given an apology all the associate told me to look into ebay find a motherboard for my device and they can put it for me plus he said theyll still charge me for thise even though it was them who broked it, in the first place and they didnt even tell me til i had noticed the problem. i would like this repair company to replace my device. my microsoft zune is worth about $200 and i am not going to buy myself a new one due to the negligence of this company. |
