| We entered into a contractual agreement for expedited moving services through Neighbors Moving & Storage. We paid a $560 deposit. After this company had multiple conversations with a family representative, our initial pickup/delivery kept being moved forward. After multiple days where pickup/delivery dates passed without service or a call from a company representative (we had to call them multiple times each day), Neighbors Moving & Storage would not give us any information regarding when services might be provided. Instead, they deferred us to their dispatchers and claimed that there must be a problem with the current delivery or delivery truck. No other information was given. While we fully understand and appreciate that certain events can cause a delay in services of this type, there was absolutely no attempt on this companys behalf to inform us of these or to rectify the situation. At the current time, we have still not heard back from the company and no service has been provided! We are renting a Budget or U-Haul truck tomorrow, because we have no more time to wait. Moreover, we realized after the fact that this company has a ?C rating with the BBB of South Florida, with over 150 complaints submitted against them. A number of other people have also been taken advantage of by Neighbors Moving & Storage Inc. Avoid this company at all costs! |

| SCAM!! ''Neighbors Moving & Storage of South Florida'' is in big trouble. They stole $5, 881 plus an additional $429 for a grand total of $6, 310 from a sixty-eight year old man! The man that they stole from currently works and lives in Boston, Massachusetts and is employed by the ''Federal Bureau of Investigation'', also known as the FBI. He also overlooks the United States Missile Defense Agency! The Broward County Sheriff's office is currently putting a case against this company. They will be indicted on numerous felony charges ranging from ''grand theft of an elder'' and ''monetary transactions of stolen credit cards across state lines'' to ''fraud and forgery'', and the list goes on and on. This company has been scamming and stealing from people for a very long time and they will finally be shut down and the guilty people will be put behind bars! Also, their merchant accounts will be seized. The Florida Attorney General’s office is cooperating with law enforcement agencies and is working on seizing the company's business bank accounts. The Palm Beach Post is also working on a story about this company and others like it which scam their costumers and steal from them. Florida is cracking down on companies like this and others like timeshare resale companies and refund companies. So please, do not put yourself in a position in which they will be able to steal your hard earned money. Also, never pay any upfront fees or provide your credit card information over the phone. President Obama pasted a law last year that prevents companies from accepting upfront fees, so if any company asks you for money upfront it may be a telltale sign of a SCAM!!! STAY AWAY!!! |
