My 11 month old Dell desk top is a piece of sh*. The first week I used it, the Hard Drive went out. It took them a month to Send another one. There was no e-mail software with the computer and I was told I had to purchase outlook express. I did and it never worked. The customer service is terrible. You can't understand them most of the time. I've had nothing but problems with this 900.00 computer. When I called about a problem I was told That I should have purchased a software contract.What? on a new computer? Last month I called again because I was getting errors saying my hard drive was at risk. They fixed that problem so while on the phone I asked could they look at the outlook express and see why it's not working after all I was told that by buying this software it would correct my e-mail problem. They got it almost working and then told me 89.00. Because I didn't purchased a software contract. When I ordered my computer on line no one told me anything about a software contract. I was really mad now and told them I wasn't paying them a dime more. Thirty minutes later a virus took over my computer. I called back mright away and was told They would get the virus out when I purchased a software contract for 249.00. I hung the phone up after telling them I'd never buy anything else from Dell. I called AT&T and payed them to take the virus out. I even called Macafee since I had two years of their security free and they told me They would take the virus out for 3 dollars a minute. This service was provided by dell too. Right now, My computer doesn't have a e-mail program that works and the Dell printer won't communicate with the computer. I went to Best buy yesterday and bought a HP computer. I'm getting this piece of junk out of my house. Never again will I buy anything by Dell. |
