Manila Bulletin : Muslimin G.Sema also known as Mus Sema was arrested by operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for various multi-million estafa cases in the country. NBI supervising agent Ramon Santiago and agent Henry Leopoldo identified the suspect as Muslimin G.Sema vice mayor of Cotabato City. Mus Sema was arrested in Quezon City based on the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Ramon Fulgoso of the Regional Trial Court of Manila. NBI said Mus Sema has pending estafa cases from Manila, Cebu , Cagayan de Oro and Davao cities. The case stemmed from the suspect's issuance of bouncing checks to his business supplier for payment of the purchased goods of his company. NBI said Muslimin G.Sema was able to trick businessmen from Cebu , Cagayan de Oro, Manila and Davao cities. A warrant of arrest from the cities of Manila and Cagayan de Oro is yet to be issued. Muslimin G.Sema was able to post P 360,000.00 bail for his temporary release. The NBI officials are now calling on persons whom Muslimin G.Sema have transacted business. "Basin daghan pana siya'y nailad. Kung kinsa tong naka-ila niya magpahibalo na," NBI said. |
