Ms. Perfect Hair Lavine - Rep. Don't Do It!!!!! Internet, Internet |

Ms. Perfect Hair is a scam! Let me start off by saying, I am not one of those unsatisfied customers who loves to complain. I am actually very laid back and understanding. Things happen and we can not control everything. So for me to actually sit down and write a letter or an email about something like this means it must be pretty bad. I was looking to buy human hair extensions. I found Ms. Perfect Hair (MPH). I looked at their products and liked what I saw. Plus they were priced well. Before purchased anything I did more research and looked on YouTube to see what "The People" thought of this company. Some good ratings , some bad. Most of the bad was around the time Japan had a tsunami, earlier this year. Apparently, MPH was having trouble shipping their products out to customers which then caused a refund frensy that MPH couldn't keep up with. I personally, knew 2 woman that ordered from them at that time that were given the run around and had to contact their banks for the refund (Charge Dispute). One of them in fact made a video on YouTube advising others NOT to order from MPH. I should have listened...Being who I am, I thought, well who knows, maybe this company is good and they just had a moment. UHHHH..No. I ordered 18 inch Brazilian wavy hair for $170.00. They sent out my item right away. When I received it, I noticed it seemed short. So before getting upset I figured I would measure it because wavy hair sits a little different than straight so maybe it just seemed short. I measured it and guess what?! It only measured at a whopping 16 1/2 inches straight! Now, that is NOT what I ordered. I have ordered enough hair in my time to know what I should get. I straightened a few pieces and measured it again just to make sure. Nope...16 1/2 inches straight and 15 inches wavy. I contacted MPH, and spoke to a rep named Lavine. I explained that I opened the hair, did not wear it and only straightened a few pieces with my flat iron bc it's hard to really see how long wavy hair is. She informed me that they could not accept hair that had been tampered with. I could understand that as well. So after speaking she was nice enough to make me a false promise. She said because I was a new customer, she would allow me to return the hair and she would send me 20 inch instead. I was stoked. I am not someone who looks for a free ride, I offered to give her the extra money that it would cost for the new hair and she declined. Lavine told me that I would have my new extensions asap . I offered to mail the wrong bundle express mail . So I sent an expedited envelope to MPH and back for $38.19. That was over a month ago. I'm glad I spent $40.00 extra on nothing. I spoke with Lavine again, and I let her know I was leaving the country for a few weeks and if possible I would like to have my hair for my trip. She said she would contact the "owner" and have it sent right away. Well..guess what? I never heard back from her. I returned to the states and still NO PACKAGE. I contact Lavine again and this time she gives me the age old excuse that someone died in the owner's family. An aunt if I'm not mistaken. Now, what does that have to do with my order??? Umm. sorry for your loss but again, what does that have to do with my order??? I'll tell you what, it has NOTHING to do with my order. Some time passes, and Lavine and I speak again, bc I'm the one contacting her every other day about the status of my order. She gives me the same song and dance about her having to speak with the owner, telling the owner to send it out me to , etc, etc. I have already heard, several times, "I'll have the owner mail it out this Friday". The owner, if she has any knowledge about this issue, is one unprofessional indivdual. Come to find out Lavine is too. The last email I received from Ms. Lavine, stated , in an aggravated tone by the way, that MPH DID NOT owe me anything and that the hair I sent back to them was in fact the correct length. Ha! Don't make me laugh! Anyone who can count to 10 and measured that bundle knows it didn't come close to the 18 inch mark!! So now, I'm done with the back and forth, I have contacted Wells Fargo for my refund. In the begining, I thought I had found myself a good company to make all of my purchases. Instead, I got a bunch of BS. Anyone can promise anything and not follow through. Heck, I could promise Lavine a trip to the moon. Does that really mean she'll get it? So, the moral of this story is DO NOT BUY FROM MS> PERFECT HAIR. Go to Lanik's instead. I learned my lesson. Never again will I take a chance like that. |
