I purchased my vehicle, paid in full in Nov 2011. In December 2011 I received a notice informing me that my original warranty was about to expire, and that I could take advantage of an extended warranty through them. On the outside of this mailer, there is no return address, and says Urgent Time Sensitive. I opened it and it stated that my current vehicle warranty may have or is about to expire. So I want the piece of mind when it comes to car repairs. So I called the number and talked to customer service, they transferred me to a Scott Garrison, (Ext: 353) . Scott then started telling me the price($2495) for a Platinum Powertrain Warranty, which he stated was the best warranty they offered. Scott stated that most of the part on the vehicle would be covered under this Platinum Powertrain Warranty. Me being a dumb-ass, I signed up. Scott then told me I could do monthly payments or pay in full. I stated i wanted the monthly payments. Scott said there was a 130 down payment and monthly payment of $102.72 for the next 24 months. Scott then said I would receive the contract in the mail. 3 days later I received a letter from Scott stating the information about the monthly installments and when the coverage would expire. 1 week later I received the contract booklet.

Update*** on 12/31/2011, I called the company back asking them to cancel this contract as I couldn't afford due to a job loss. The dated I agreed to this contract was on Dec 16. So today( Dec 31) I asked for a cancellation. I have 30 days to receive this contract, at which point a job loss and i didn't agree the all covered parts in the contract. I spoke with a customer rep and stated I would like to cancel this contract. The rep kept telling me to keep it and he could lower the payments and total amount of the warranty. He told me he would be able to give me the "Employee" price of $1996.00 and he would lower my payments to around $77 a month for the next 18 months. So me being very mad, I agreed to this just to make them shut up. I then got an email from the rep stating the new pricing on the warranty and was told it would take a week to get the updated contract.

Update*** on 1/6/2012, I haven't received an updated contract, so I tried to email the rep back via email that he sent to me. WOW after sending it, i received an email stating the email address was invalid and to try again. The email address that I received the updated monthly installments is [email protected] a company would have a legit email. So I'm going to call them tomorow(the 13th) and tell them to cancel my contract since the 30 days haven't come. 3 days within the 30 days. I'll post an update within the next few days and type a review of what went on with the phone call.
Sorry about this being long, just needed to be detailed.

Good luck calling the a**holes
The letter we received looked like it was from Chrysler.
We purchased this plan in Oct. 2011. It is on a 2008 Town and country Chrysler. I took the van to a dealer yesterday and they determined it had a worn upper strut bearing. I gave them the contract from Motor Vehicle Solutions like it said to do in the contract and they called like it said ti o in the contract. MVS said they did not cover that item. the dealer told me to call them, it should be covered, it is covered in the contract. I called and got the run around, they said to call in the morning, they would have decided by then.I can not call them, they have blocked my phone. When I responded to their add the ph # was 866-238-6239. every number is blocked. There are plenty complaints on this company I discovered too late. I would like to warn everyone possible to NOT buy this product. They changed their name from Direct Warranty Services because they were in trouble. They are affiliated with Enterprise Financial Group PO Box 167667 Irving TX 75016 Ph #877-838-3322 look up http://www.ripoffreport.com/auto-warranty/motor-vehicle-soluti/motor-vehicle-solutions-scott-7dbeb.htm

EFGs business model seems to be based on denial of claims (sometimes called "pre-existing" without ANY evidence to support "pre-existence"). Typical claimant needs the car, and it's already in the shop...so pays for repairs. EFG smiles, because you have just been a$$-raped. I have fought these bastard animals and prevailed. The procedure is simple, and most of it can be completed on-line (cut and paste statement of issue, etc.) Begin with a Certified, Return-receipt letter to John Pappanastros, Pres. This may be your most important maneuver (use a simple format, like that found here: http://www.usa.gov/topics/consumer/complaint/complaint-letter.shtml ). The certified letter elevates the importance of the piece, and it should get opened and read. Then, BLAST COMPLAINTS to (at least):
BBB Dalas, TX (online) and BBB (your location)
TX Dept of Licensing and Regulation (very important)
Dept of Insurance (your state)
Attorney General or Consumer Fraud (your state)
USPO (online)
FTC (online)
and make it clear that you have "intent-to-sue" in an additional letter (once you have verified that the pro-se, or small-claims, court in your county allows for an action for warranty fraud {most do}).
DO NOT BACK DOWN! Get the above attack list going, and support the agencies any way they ask. Keep good records and be relentless. Also, incessant e-mail complaints and inquiries might be useful (I didn't use them, but I would have if I needed to)> The EFG emails seem to follow the format of firstinitiallastname @efgusa.com.
Best of luck to all. Please post your results here, also.
