Mortgage Payment Repair is a scam organization that stole $3,495.00 from me for services they did not perform. They presented themselves as Loan Modification Processors and even sent me a contract which clearly states that the client (me) has the right to cancel the service if they do not have a decision from their lender in 60 days. It's been 6 months and finally a rejection letter came from the bank. I faxed it to my Mortgage Payment repair processor who directed me to their finance office for my refund, as the contract states that if the application is denied by the bank the client is entitled to a full refund of their retainer. I keep getting the run around from the supposed finance office. Sometimes the manager is on his "break" or not in the office or no longer working for the company. It's always a different story. Don't be a fool like me and trust this company. In addition to not refunding my money, it looks like they weren't working very hard on my Loan Modification application, as the bank stated in the rejection letter that my application was being denied after repeated calls and letters to my designated processor at mortgage payment repair did not respond to their requests for additional documentation to support my application. I am mortified that I fell for their scam, but I was desperate to climb out of my underwater morgage nightmare. So in addition to still being underwater, I'm also out nearly $4,000 that I could certainly use for mortgage payments. Don't be a fool like me....Beware!
