| Morgan and Associates Law Offices scam, SCAM... HARASSMENT... Oakland, California |

I was woken up at 8am (central time) this morning by some man with like an 'Indian' accent. He didn't give his name but informed me, (at least what I could understand with all the background noise and terrible accent), that I am being sued. Who is my lawyer and such. He then proceeded to give me the last four of my social security # and birth date. He said to verify I am the 'person' who is being sued.
I asked who he was and what company. What was he talking about. He gave me the name of 'Morgan & Assoc Law Offices' and then transferred me to his 'supervisor'. This 'supervisor' told me his name is 'Shawn Woods' (he spelled it) and he is with the offices of Morgan & Assoc. He gave me their address in Oakland, Ca. Informed me I'm being sued for various loans. He wouldn't give me the names of the 'loan companies' or any other information. He then DEMANDED my bank information to take care of this 'debt' without taking me to court. I'm NOT a morning person. I then DEMANDED that they send it to me in writing. Not email or phone...I wanted the information in 'black and white'. He informed me that they would NOT send it to me in writing because I was an 'ignorant as_hole' and couldn't read. And then he hung up. I answered too quick for my caller ID to get the #. These people are scammers. Do NOT give them any of your information. I have received calls from them off and on for the last 6 months or so. They NEVER give out 'who' has sued me and they NEVER mail anything.
I'm totally fed up with these people and their harassing phone calls and threats. P.S. I asked them what law office in CA is open at 6am (pacific time). He said they work on 'eastern' time. Yeah right. Nothing but a bunch of liars.

| these same folks call me at my job and my cell phone and have a different american name each time. one time i try to call back and they all of sudden could not understand me and i had called private and he was like he couldnt hear and could i call straight through. They are not professional at all whoever they are but the threats of them saying they going to be at my door step and i will be very sorry is crazy. i am still waiting on the visit of them at the doorstep because they need to know who they are talking to when they are being disrespectful. Somebody need to catch these folks real quick |

| I have experienced the same exact issues. They are constantly calling and harassing me. They have not sent me anything in writing, by law any debt collection agency has to inform you in writing and verify debt. I do not owe this money and when I asked for verification of the debt he would not send it. I cannot even understand these people and everytime I ask for their address they hang up on me. If they continue to call me I will hire an attorney and sue for harrassment. If you are also a victim of this scam contact your attorney generals office, notify the police, and file complaint with the FTC. It is scary to think that they have your personal information and what they can do with it. Don't be a victim you have rights..report them! |
