Bought A toy Poodle on sale, after we had purchased the poodle the staff informed us that the dog had giardia, and that we had to take it to their doctor in alta loma, from day 1 this dog was continually sick and then after just a couple months the dog had gotten really sick so i had taken him to a pet hospital where we had no choice but to put him down as he was really sick and in unstable condition, upon expert advice he was gone, so we took advice of vet and did the humane thing to do, upon contact with the pet store moondoggies, they had stated the following, their is nothing we can do and that we should of taken the dog to their doctor, the same doctor that was suppose to fix whatever was wrong with the dog when we purchased him, the staff was unapolagetic saying no to a refund of any kind unless we take the body to their doctor and pay for an autopsy, and if the dogs conditions fell under specific guidelines under their contracts, i let them know this dog had been sick from the first day was never cured at their doctors, so the staff had threatened to send their lawyers after me and have made several harrasing phone calls, blaming the death on myself and things weve done |

Puppies@Moondoggies mistake was selling this guy a puppy. What actually happened with this poor puppy was the owner let the dog eat a plastic piece from either a toy or something around their house. The dog became ill due to that fact and the owner accidentally stepped on the puppy which severely injured the puppy as well. The owner waited two to three days before taking the puppy into the vet which at that point the dog became really sick from these incidents. When he arrived at the vet he told them that he had stepped on the puppy a couple of days prior and that the puppy had been acting very sick ever since then. The owner of the puppy took it upon himself to put the puppy down because he didn't want to pay for the medical expenses that he caused to the puppy himself. The Vet also found the plastic piece that the puppy had eaten that was stuck in the puppies stomach. After Moondoggies received a call from this customer stating that his puppy has passed away and he didn't know why all he wanted was his money back. Moondoggies then proceeded to call the Vet to find out what actually happened to the puppy and the above statements are what we were told. Moondoggies called the customer back and told him we need proof that the puppy had passed away due to a hereditary or congenital condition which pertains to our health guarantee such as a written statement from a Veterinarian or a necropsy report. The customer refused to give such information and then proceeded to make threats to slander the companies name and post blogs. Moondoggies found a blog that was posted about 30 minutes after the telephone conversation on Yahoo stating the same thing that this blog says. Moondoggies called the customer and asked him to take the blog down but he refused so Moondoggies contacted their attorney to take action from there. His blog from Yahoo was removed when he hear from our attorney. If he continues to slander this business with lies Moondoggies will be in contact with their attorney for a second time. It disgusts me that someone could treat an animal like this. Moondoggies mistake was selling this person a puppy because he was obviously incapable of caring for the dog. Since then we have done our best to make sure these puppies are going to loving and caring families. |
