I paid $24 cash and received a flu shot at a Sam's Club in Norman, OK, on October 12, 2010, from Mollen Immunization Clinic, I submitted the receipt and what I thought was the correct form for reimbursement to my insurance company on November 15, 2010. On December 6, 2010, I received a phone call from a female (I failed to write down her name because I had just come home from having eye surgery and told her that) who identified herslef as representing Mollen Immunization Clinic. She told me that they (Mollen) had received my claim form from my insurance company with a note that the identifying numbers, etc. were not correct. She said that they could show my account as owing for the shot and submit the claim for me and then reimburse me what I had paid. I said OK and she suggested that I place a follow up call in 2 weeks. In the meantime, I received an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) dated December 11, 2010, from my insurance company relecting that they had sent Mollen $27.52. As soon as I received the EOB, I called Mollen and requested my reimburement for $24. I was told that just because I had received an EOB, didn't mean that they had received the money and that it would take 6 to 8 weeks. This seemed a bit excessive to me, however, I said I would call beck. I called back on January 6, 2011, and again ask about my refund. This time I was told that they had not received the check and it would take several weeks before I would recieve my reimbursement. I ask to speak to a supervisor, however, with no success. I was not happy nor pleasant. Later that day a young woman phoned and identified hersel as a supervisor with Mollen and that she was going to complete a request for a refund for me even though it was against their policy and that I would have to wait 2 weeks. She was not pleasant, helpful, nor professional. On February 2, 2011, yesterday, I phoned Mollen again. Each time I have phoned a different person has answered. I ask the woman about my refund after giving her the account number. She said she would have to put me on hold and check. I told her no that I thought she could tell the status from her computer. There seemed to be someone else that she was talking to very close to her. She said that the computer showed that indeed a supervisor had called me on January 6, 2011, and said that she was completing the refund request and that I would have to wait 2 weeks. I told her that by my count that I had waited a month since that time. I ask her for the name of the CEO of the company and she would not give it to me. I could hear someone else close to her talking to her. She ask if she could put me on hold and I said no that I was sure that should know the name of the principle person of her company. She put me on hold anyway and then I hung up. This is about what is right!!!!!! Not just about the money. Of course, I googled the company.......Dr. Arthur J. Mollen started the company. I did call his office today but had to leave a recorded message.
