Millis Transfer Mike Millis dropped me from class richfield , Wisconsin |
31st of Oct, 2011 by User125948 |
I started with Millis because they said they were family oriented. First let me clarify, Chris was my instructor, and he was fantastic. On the other hand Mike Millis was not, he’s a rude, unprofessional individual. I think he’s money hungry but I digress. There was only supposed to be six of us in the class, but there were nine. How shameful that was because Chris Smith was such a fantastic instructor. I didn’t get the one on one time I deserved because there were 3 more people in the class then its suppose to be there. I finished all my days in drivers training and the first day of orientation my car got repossessed, and my phone ran out of minutes the day before so I could not call anyone and then I started throwing up from the stress. So, I could not make it that day. Next thing that happened was I emailed Mike Millis and told him the situation and asked what I should do... here is his response … I quote…. "Sorry, but we had to drop you from the class. It is not possible to make up the time" You mean to tell me that after I did so well in the class and passed every test and learned everything there was for me to learn in class... I can’t make up one day of orientation? The definition to orientation: is a course introducing a new situation or environment... paperwork, w2 forms, insurance, taxes, and rules of the company. Know where in any paper work I read does it state that these two things (driving, and orientation) are the same thing. Our conversation is as wrote below….. Me "I want my certificate for completing school. Since school and orientation are two separate things. I successfully completed all my hours and I want a certificate saying so. Please let me know what time today Chris can have that ready for me" Mike Millis “They are not 2 different things. School is 3 ½ weeks. You did not complete the scheduled course. Also we only give out the certificates when the schooling is paid in full." Me "Then I want my 500$ back. This is insane" Mike Millis "1st. I’m not going to debate this. The facts are you were unable to finish schooling, you agreed that you would pay $2500.00 for the schooling on a pro rated contract, you completed over 90% of the classes and now are responsible for the remaining $2000.00. 2nd You were never employed by Millis Transfer Inc so the additional $2500.00 is not owed. 3rd your demands will not be honored." I ended it there… My feelings are that I did everything I was supposed to do and you mean to tell me that paperwork can’t be made up another day. I feel I was scammed and taken advantage of. I do need to reiterate that the two instructors at Richfield, Chris and Ed, were exceptional teachers and I really did appreciate the time I was with them. My complaint is this…. Mike is only out for money and I was a victim of this. KS |
