Mike Warren, MIS University Multiple Income Streams University Took $995 to be an affiliate, and didn't deliver, has not returned any communications f

I signed up as an affiliate last September, 2010 for $995. It was for one of the companies Mike Warren runs or owns called I Want Local Now, (he has at least one other that does judgments, liens, defaulted paper, etc) which supposedly would guarantee business owners that they would be placed on the Google map, along with 6 other similar businesses, and that they would keep them there for at least half the month, each and every month. I never wanted to go out and sell this as a service, but I could have. Rather, I signed up to be able to build a team of 5-10 independent reps in any area of the country to sell it. There was an upfront fee paid by the business, and then a monthly subscription, and I could share that in any way I chose with the reps. My complaint is that we never really got much training to build the business, no one ever really picked up the phone at the main office (always voice mail, never a good sign), they were always going to be getting things together, etc. I never had enough confidence in them to either hire reps, or try to sign up local businesses on my own, I was always concerned that they didn't really have it together, and they'd let my people down. I live in a small town, and didn't want to hook anyone up with them unitl I knew they could perform. I waited until about May of 2011 to see if they would come through on what they promised. I had been dealing with a very nice woman named Megan , who worked there and was kind of in charge of running the program, but after a time, even she stopped returning my calls. I have a friend who signed up around the same time, and he had the same experience as I did with them. Finally after many emails and voice messages, I sent Mike a snail mail asking for a refund. I never received a response, refund, or an explanation of any kind. Mike sounded very sincere when I heard him talk about I Want Local Now..maybe he meant well, but the fact is he has my money, and has not provieded a refund, or a viable way for me to earn it back through the business opportunity he presented. I doubt if I'll ever hear from them, or get a refund, but I'm hoping to protect other people from MIS University. Since the name stands for Multiple Income Streams, I'm sure he'll be coming out with other biz opps, if he hasn't already.

Absolutely poor communication. Never answered emails that asked for support regarding questions about meeting with local bankers of small town banks to discuss buying defaulted paper. Never answered phone or emails that I sent to ask them to cancel monthly subscription service fee, and then continued to charge my credit card, after the cancellation notices were sent!! Very disappointing.
