Michael Hurt is a total fraud! After meeting all their requirements and being approved for the loan, a week before closing Michael Hurt decided the house I am purchasing must have a new heat pump, siding, paint, sheet rock, and carpet before closing. The house was contracted for "as is". The house in its present condition is appraised $85, 000 more than the loan amount. The buyer meets all criteria. The house appraises for more than the loan. The report above is a fabricated report. Notice how all the negative reports all began at the same time and are appearing in a short time frame. I, myself, was a victim of a mortgage scam by a gentleman who called himself Ivan Moreno working for GMX corporation that speciailzed in mortgage marketing. After paying him $773.50 for a deposit on the marketing I never heard from him again and then began to see similar complaints on this very website. I posted some information which in turn has stopped a few mortgage companies from falling victim as did i and now "Mr. Moreno" is filing false reports about me to make me look bad and stop consumers from doing business with me.
If you are a client of mine or a potential client, i do apologize if this has caused you any concern. Please now, in no way shape or form do i benefit in any way by lying to consumers. Michael Hurt and their co-horts are literally kicking people out of their homes when they are STEALING their last dimes.
In September of 2011, I was contacted/phone solicited by Michael Hurt they represented themselves as mortgage professionals; associated with Attorneys who “specializing" in Mortgage Modifications, with Top Flite Financial, www.topflitefinancial.com, and http://www.topflitefinancial.com
I was given their websites: http://www.topflitefinancial.com
I was told if I retained Michael Hurt, services I could have my adjustable rate mortgage modified in 45 to 60 days to a fixed rate, saving me thousands over the term of the loan. I asked for this confirmed to me in writing. I received a letter from Mr. Michael Hurt confirming their services and my savings.
I paid Michael Hurt a retainer of $1750.00, quite literally all the money I had at the time.
I Fed-Ex'd bank statements, taxes, pay stubs, financials etc., everything they asked for, to their alleged office address: 10503 Timberwood Circle #202, Louisville, KY 40223
Now I was notified by the FBI they are scamming seniors and those of us they need real help to save our homes for our children
After one month of no communication, but constant contact from me, they finally were able to get me a Forbearance Agreement, for a ridiculous amount of money. Never mind that I had previously negotiated 2 other Forbearance Agreements, directly with my lender, and on my own. Michael Hurt needless to say, did nothing for me that I could not do myself.
Over last months, I got an occasional one line e-mails saying they were working on it, yet my phone calls, e-mails, faxes and fed-ex's were never acknowledged. Ultimately, in desperation to hang onto my home, I filed a complaint with the
FBI online services for white collar crime. I found out they have dozens of Complaints about Michael Hurt, and www.topflitefinancial.com
Literally everyone that deals with Michael Hurt has the same story as myself. HE TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOTHING FOR YOU.
Its now close to 2 months later and once again, one line e-mails, or NO communication or return of phone calls etc. Now I am back to dealing with my lender directly because the CROOK Michael Hurt is doing the same thing to many others all over the country.
