My husband and I have been homeowners in the westisland for over 40 years have always had relatively good service. When we contacted Metropolitain Roofers (also know as roof doctor ,master roofer and roi du toit) to basicaly came to fix a few shingles that had blown off they charged us 2000$ cause they said there was a maxi vent that was not installed properly and needed to be repaired. so we're still waiting. after 6 months I figured I had been taken advantage of. They wanted a deposit, normally they said it's 1/3 so I gave them a deposit for 1000$. They told me it should be done in the next few weeks. That was early September, we are now middle of March the following year. I had to hire a different company to finally fix what should have been taken care of by them a long time ago. This new company only charged me half of the price, and the work was done efficiently. Basically the deposit that I lost to them was the cost of the entire job. It was through one of the new companies employees that I found out that Roof doctor, master roofer, metropolitain roofers and now roi du toit were all owned by the same family and that they never answer there phones to private numbers or numbers that they are familiar with (that they've ripped off). I am the attorney representing the company referred to in this report, Metropolitan Roofers Inc. My client has absolutely no knowledge of the facts alleged in this report. They have verified thier records and have nothing related to the set facts set out thier in the false report. In addition, my client is in no way affiliated or associated with any of the companies mentioned in the report as doing business under the names Roof Doctor, Master roofer or Roi DuToit.A simple verification of the government records in Quebec would immediately confirm that Metropolitan Roofers Inc. does not use any of these names nor has it registered any of these names with the public authorities.
Not only is this report unfounded and groundless it is also slanderous towards my client who has a good reputation in both the business community and the community at large.The person who posted this report should make sure of thier facts prior to posting as should Scam Informer before allowing anyone to post unverified facts that have and are certain to comtinue to cause damages to my client until the initial report is either corrected to relate to the proper company or it is withdrawn altogether.
On behalf of my client I ask the author and Scam Informer to delete this slanderous reprt immediately. |

| Yes, Audra Whalley, owner of Roof Doctor, is good at doing shoddy work, then hiding from her responsibilities when people discover the shoddy work. If she is sued, then she disappears from the face of the earth. |

| I am so glad to have seen this post. I have recently contacted Metropolitain Roofers to have work done on my roof. We scheduled a date for them to come and see the roof only to have them cancel and reschedule for the next day. They had me waiting for hours and never showed up. They didn't even bother calling. How unprofessional. I guess in a way it is a blessing that they never came. Thank you for your post. May I ask which company you ended up using. Much thanks |

| Hi this is metropolitan roofers both these comments are unfounded, we have never not shown up to do a contract, nor have we taken money from people and not done the roof that is fraud and we would not hold a a valid business Liscence if we operated in that fashion, again I'm sur this is all coming from one individual maybe even one of our competitors. I think this is a terrible thing to do to an honest hard hard working family business |

My name is Anna May milligan, my grand daughter is showing me the computor we were just looking for Metropolitan roofers phone number, I stumbled accross this review, This company did the roof of 2 of my dearest friends, they had nothing but great things to say about them, Im quit surprised to see this, they had some kind of fancy new shingle put on, looks pretty nice to me. I will try to use the computor on my own if my husband does decide to go with this company and post my final comment.Thank you. |
