I was very skeptical about canceling my current credit card processor and switching to Merchant Industry. Once I signed an agreement fulfilling my expectations, the problems began. I never saw the $120 cancelation fee charged by my previous processor. This was promised to me in writing by Merchant Industry. All fees waived on my agreement were charged. Not only that, fees increased. $10 per month wireless fee became $25. When I asked about a $40 fee that showed up on my bank statement and not on the Merchant Industry statement, they couldn't tell me what it was for. Fees were charged for transactions on cards that were not processed. I asked 3 times for them to send me paper for my machine. I had to buy it because they never sent any. I've been passed around to everyone in the office only to get no answers and the worst service I have ever had dealing with any business. I never got to speak with anyone that knew anything. They were all customer service reps. I sent, by certified mail, a packet containing all papers to clarify matters.They conveniently misplaced some of those papers. (Be sure to number and list all pages in the cover letter in future packets.) They will never return your calls. You must call to get them off their butts to answer the phone and be prepared to stay on hold forever. Get the word out. Do not do business with this unscrupulous scam passing themselves off as a credit card processing company. I wish I had seen this web site sooner. One word of advice should you read this report after you've been sucked into their scam. Close your bank account to end their unauthorized reach.
