| This was posted by "MAURICE BRABHAM" of "Desmarais Investments" in retaliation for my refusing to be scammed by him. "Maurice" emailed me about purchasing some wine for overseas delivery, paying by check, etc---the usual scam---and 30 seconds of google browsing brought me to Rip Off Report and other consumer complaint/scam warning sites where "Maurice"/Desmarais is prominently listed. These scammers are getting better---Desmarais' website is fairly professional, but its all fluff---zero real contact info except for the email to "Maurice". If the horrible english, complete lack of punctuation, and usual rudimentary grifter skills weren't enough of a warning, his responses when questioned about his listing on Rip Off Report and other sites sent him into an irate frenzy of nasty emails. He has now taken the step of listing my company & my individual name here as retaliation. 30 seconds of googling should sufficiently show which one of us has a real business, real history in their industries, and which is a scam. The intimidation by public blackmailing of reputation is an interesting tactic that these scammers are now using. Be careful out there. |

We are to inform you that Pinchuk Hedge Funds is a fake company, and is not connected or associated in any way with Mr. Victor Pinchuk and/or his Foundation. Thus, having relations with Pinchuk Hedge Funds, you may become a part of a fraud scheme.
pinchuk-funds.com is a fake domain, the actual web-site of The Victor Pinchuk Foundation is http://www.pinchukfund.org/ . The phone numbers, associated with the Pinchuk Hedge Funds, are fake. The individual writing on behalf of Pinchuk Hedge Funds is fraudster. There have been some similar cases recently, and investigation is in process.
Your letter provided us new information regarding Maurice Brabham, since this person and domain desmarais-investments.com never appeared in the scheme before. Also, previous letters from Vincent Peterson originated from Italy. Thank you again.
We've tried to clarify with domain provider, Publicdomainregistry.com, the reason of hosting fraudulent website, but so far they are taking the side of their client. If the fraudster will continue to target you, we would recommend you to write your complaint to [email protected] and/or appropriate federal agency.
