| Maximum Security is a Monitronics dealer. This means they sell their contracts for a lump sum to the monitoring company. Monitronics is very specific about the types of deals they will purchase and this company has figured out that it is easier to forge signatures and initials in order to get their contracts purchased. Maximum Security turns in copies of checks with VOID written on the back even though Monitronics requires that customers pay for their activation fee and first month of service. They also buy prepaid credit cards to make it seem like the customer is paying with their own credit card. The sales reps are dishonest and lie to customers in order to line their own pockets. They promise free months of service and the customers never see a dime of the money. The company runs credit reports on people before going to the appointments to try and get a qualifying credit score... this is illegal because they do not have a signed contract. Overall, they cheat and lie their way into homes all across the United States and then the owners do not even pay their vendors or creditors. |

Their style is very crooked poorly ran mom & pop
They can only remain competitve because they use horrible products
while paying the lowest wages to people without doing any kind
of background check and then getting a horrible monitoring
company like Monitronics to montitor the equipment and then
take over the 3 year contract they sucker you into and you can't
get out of once 3 days have passed. They will rebutt these
complaints, but trust me none of these accusations are false.
Any authority can simply investigate and find these claims to
be true and shut these criminals down. Hopefully they do look
into it and don't let them talk and weasel their way out of it
again.
They have the highest amount of customer complaints in the
business and the lowest amount of customer satisfaction.
They don't make sure any of their installers are licensed
None of their installers have uniforms or stickers or signs
on their person showing the company they represent. Most of them
have never even been seen by the company. So for all I know they
could be hobos, criminals, drug attics or whatever installing
these simple devices. They will be relocating soon to a nearby
Sacramento address probably within the next few months for
some illegal reason I'm sure. Just keep an eye on them till
they are put out of business for giving people a false sense
of security for their equipment don't really work, hasn't saved
anyone and has only brought out law enforcement for false alarms
of course which the customers (victims) have to pay for. |

They pass people that have below 600 credit score or no credit with "special approval"
For instance, if a customer lets say had a 400 credit score you would call it in and get that special approval. "Good news we got the customer passed with a 750 credit score" Collect a check but make sure there is no middle initial on the check, no social security number, or date of birth or Monitronics won't buy the contract.
They wave the 69 dollar activation fee but they still want a check. Fill it out like normal on the front but have the customer write void all over the back so we can show Monitronics that they paid but its not a real check. |
