These 2 guys are prime examples of the ROTTEN CORRUPTION at the hands of Buenos Aires, capital city politicians and public officials that the citizens of Argentina suffer every day in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Mauricio Macri, the current mayor of Buenos Aires capital city is very well known for all kinds of corrupt activities, including illegal tapping of phone lines of his opponents, almost every project his administration touches if rife with cost overruns, nepotism, false campaign promises, etc. He is very wealthy and people who have told their story in public forums such as Wikipedia have their comments erased as Mauricio Macri pays people to patrol his public image and erase any information about him that he doesn't like, even if it's the truth. Mauricio Macri's new wife Juliana Awada is also accused of corruption, she and her family are owners of a company called AWADA and are known to produce garments in illegal sweatshops paying slave wages to workers. Javier Ibáñez, the head of an agency called "Agencia Gubernamental de Control" A/K/A "Governmental Control Agency" located at Peron 2933 in Buenos Aires is just about as corrupt as you can get. He was appointed to this position by his long time friend "Mauricio Macri", since he has been in this position, his agency has been responsible for failing to properly inspect construction sites, causing multiple devastating construcion accidents, that caused buildings to collapse, loss of property and deaths. Javier Ibáñez also oversees the division of inspectors that inspect small businesses for compliance to food safety regulations, his inspectors are known to solicit and accept bribes from small business owners and those who don't give in to bribes get their businesses closed down, and thrown into administrative abyss when they try and get the issues resolved and back open again. For some business owners this is devastating financially. There have also been many proven allegations of bribes being paid to Javier Ibáñez's inspectors by owners of dance clubs to obtain municipal business permits. There have been cases of overcrowding and even deaths due to unsafe conditions that have been overlooked by his agency. And recently it's been found out, that Javier Ibáñez own father is going to be appointed a high level position within this agency. When questioned about this his response was "my father is qualified". Those who complain to his agency genereally get completely ignored, however some people have actually been threatened for complaining. |
