Market Geometry Timothy Morge misleading advertising on services Prescott, Arizona |
3rd of Nov, 2010 by User382597 |
Market Geometry and Timothy Morge advertises his services on the website marketgeometry.com. From the website, it looks like Timothy Morge is the only one offering his services. His bio is given. He is a 35 year veteran of the trading industry. However, once you sign up, it is the old "bait and switch" trick used so often in advertising. I signed up for the mini-mentorship 3 sessions per week. Subscribers get Timothy Morge on Mondays. Mondays are a free session though it is included in the 3 paid sessions. So really you only get 2 paid sessions per week. Most Fridays you get only Shane Blankenship. I do not know his bio. His career was/is a truck driver. I do not know what kind of trading experience he has because it is not given on the website but I do know it is not 35 years. I was surprised to see Shane be the presenter because no where does it say on the website anything about him or anything about anyone other than the touted 35 year trading veteran Timothy Morge providing the mentorship. On Wednesdays, you will sometimes get both. But though Tim may attend on Wednesdays, it is Shane presenting the topic. You can tell the difference between the 35 year experience of Tim and the much less experienced Shane. It is like night and day. It was a surprise to me that the site could charge so much and deliver someone with so much less experience than advertised. A subscriber deserves to know what they are signing up for. Beware subscribers! |

I have seen Tim's videos on you tube and find my self very confused after wards. I'm not really sure what he said had any value or meaning. I have not seen Shane but he cant be much worse. |

While the poster from Nov. 3, 2010 is certainly entitled to his opinion, I have a completely opposite one. I started subscribing at the beginning of 2011, and was initially curious who Shane was and why no bio was listed. I have taken the time to listen to many of the archived sessions and read many of the articles posted at the MedianLine.com site. What I have learned is that Shane is a long time associate of Tim's and someone who earned Tim's trust. Tim has a reputation to uphold and he has been careful to choose a teaching partner who is qualified. Most of the time, 3 days a week, I hear BOTH Tim and Shane and the interaction between them is very educational. When Tim is absent, he has a pressing reason for it, such as a health issue. He did one session from the hospital. I believe that shows how seriously he takes his commitment. As the old saying goes, the proof is in the pudding. What Shane teaches is completely congruent with what Tim teaches and I feel equally comfortable learning from Shane. I have bought a lot of trading "education" from many of the big names in the business and the quality of what Tim and Shane provide is the highest I have seen. The format of the mid-day sessions allows for learning over some time, rather than a weekend cram session that no one can remember fully. To report Tim on this site is, in my opinion, totally undeserved. |

I totally agree with CoolBreeze (above)! I've been a member of Tim's MarketGeometry site for several months now and can't begin to describe how much I've learned already. What's more, between Tim's MedianLine site and the free Monday sessions on MarketGeometry you're getting a free education!

Twelve years trading for both funds larger institutions..
Been a member of both Marketgeometry.com and CoghlanCapital.com which also teaches Median Line Analysis..
CoghlanCapital offers a much better education without someone constantly letting you know that you are in the presence of the "Biggest forex trader in the world" etc, etc..
If you want a more personal experience with a seasoned trader I'd go with Coghlan. |
