Marie Goodwin founder/owner and manager Ohio Air Dogs purchased 1/4" rubber flooring for the Ohio Air Dogs in Brunswick, OH. She received flooring, signed for the flooring with the freight company and just didn't pay for the flooring. Outstanding invoice was approx. $2000. She was contacted by our attorney, she said she would pay it; but of course the "check is in the mail" syndrome as with every crook. My attorney filed a mechanics lien on building; but the landlord went bankrupt so Marie escaped again....we sent her to collections and said the h**l with it. She employs the typical tactics of a con artist; threatens to sue saying she was harassed. If you would pay your bills, no one would contact you. Here is a brief copy of just one of her correspondence with my lawyer. Big surprise, no payment was ever sent. I would like to thank the author for posting this report. Now I know I am not the only one to fall prey to Marie Goodwin's scams. I, too, am experiencing an issue with repayment of a short-term loan made to Ohio Air Dogs for their build-out at the prior Brunswick location. We are now more than 3 months past the due date from our signed, written agreement and personal guarantee for repayment from Marie--the founder/owner of this organization. Not once nor twice, but THREE separate times I was told "Check is in the mail." None of the checks were ever received, documentation of the transactions were never provided upon request and not one cent of the $3000 loan has been paid back.
An additonal report will be posted soon. In the meantime, please be careful with ANY financial transactions with Marie Goodwin and her "nonprofit" Ohio Air Dogs. |

What a farce! Michelle Pavlik owner of Brookway Hearing in Cleveland is a nutcase. She steaks your keys by grabbing them right out of your hand and makes you empty out your wallet to see if you have a credit card with you. I would be very, very afraid of dealing with Michelle Pavik or her business Brookway Hearing.
For the record, Ohio Air Dogs has been through turbulent financial times. The building they were renting was in foreclosure, lease was illegal because the landlord scammed them and had an employee sign their lease because under court order not to sign leases, and the bankruptcy judge revoked all leases in the building at 1255 North Carpenter. This was not Marie's fault or Ohio Air Dogs fault. It cost Ohio Air Dogs over $12, 000. It is all public record here. http://www.co.medina.oh.us/medct_epublicnodr/pages/disclaimer.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fmedct_epublicnodr%2fpages%2fresults2.aspx
Case number 10CIV2030
I hope after Ohio Air Dogs and everyone in the building on Carpenter make it after they were scammed by their landlord. They are all good people with a lot to offer the public. |

I checked out the site and case # that was mentioned. There is no such record in the Medina County Court records. Why would that record disappear? Sounds very fishy to me. |

As of 8/1/2012 we understand the rubber mats Marie Goodwin signed for -- then refused to pay for -- have been sold from the second site of Ohio Air Dogs. The post above, from "LOVEOHIOAIRDOGS" was written by Marie Goodwin herself. When faced with accusations she "deflects" and claims she was scammed by her accuser. She's starting to get a little confused because accusations are coming out of the woodwork -- from dozens of people she ripped off -- and she doesn't know who to go after. There are two civil cases in Parma Municipal court, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and two criminal cases as well, with an 8/7/12 hearing date. |
