Manhattan Mortgage St. Petersburg FL referred us to Home Keepers of America. We paid MM $599.00 for qualifying for HomeKeepers Mortgage Reduction Program and for paperwork; then we paid HomeKeepers of America $1,750.00 to represent us to BOA to get our mortgage reduction so we would not lose our home. The said we more than qualify due to debt to income ratio. We have cancelled checks and copy of all paperwork sent to HomeKeepers as well as E-mails sent back and forth for many months. Their favorite statement was "your file has been forwarded to Bank of America for review", and we have had many reductions thus far. It could take up to 12 months, but the wait is worth it. That was the same words that Mr. Milton of Manhattan Mortgage said when we contact him. We still have the E-mails sent from his office personally and from his agent(s) who were to be working on the files as well. It is our understanding that these agents are now working for other mortgage companies after Manhattan Mortgage closed. We are one of several hundreds of people who were taken in by both Manhattan Mortgage and SFG-Sherwill Financial Groupe- Home Keepers of America. It would be so wonderful to have these people investigaged and hopefully our money could be returned. Even partial returned monies could help us now. If you have had dealing with these people....please respond and maybe the investigation will beging.
