Im a single mother of 3 boys and after recieving my taxes i decided to purchase a car. i went to malibu, the workers seem very nice and the owner seemed like a god fearing man that cared about my credit and placing me in a reliable car... as so i thought ! while i was wait to test drive the truck, a customer and his wife came to the lot to complain about the running performance on the car they purchased 3 weeks prior, their car had over heated and the owner blamed them for not putting fluids in the car, so the lady turns around and tells me to not purchase anything from malibu... i should have listened! the foolwing day i gave the owner 1,475.00 as a down payment and i drove off with the truck,; the following morning on my way to work the car jerked loud and wouldnt shift into the right gear, the signals stop working and made a very loud noise if u tried to use it, the radio stopped working and the sqeeling noise fro mthe belt begin. i called and spoke with one of the sales men and he said bring it in so i did, once i was there they tried to make light of the issue and the guy sprayed some type of oil on the belt and it stopped sqeeling but the signal and radio parts would need to be order and fixed the following day. while driving back home the serratine belt snapped and me and my 3 children went coasting on the highway, the steering wheel locked up made it very hard to turn on the medium. once i got out the truck i saw the belt on the ground. i called and a very rude sales person act as if it was nothing. After noticing on my paper for the car purchase things wasnt right and the malfunction of the truck and the owner never holding truth to what he said he would do i requested for a refund *Remember i only had the truck for 2 days ! the owner then became very upset that i didnt want the piece of junk truck that he told me he would put a repo on my credit an the truck was on their lot, he only gave me in a check of $975.00 and wrote on the memo area "agree refund"! i didn't agree to not recieving my entire refund of $1,475.00 ! not to mention $65 in gas $50 on service check up, $102 full coverage insurance i couldn't get back, $25 on detailing ! Its just beyond me to believe a company like this is stil lin business and has been for 27 years! Its a big reason why the lot is still on gravel rock ! they are scamming people and the finance company - telling me to tell the finance company it put down $2,500 instead of $1,475!I have reported them to the BBB as well!! They are located in a below poverty level area taking advantage of people in their special situations! ALL of them are going to hell!! Stay away from Malibu! Also dont believe the good reviews online because Malibu workers write them!!! |
