Lowes Home Improvement Bosch Rebate Scam Conyers, Georgia |

I purchased three Bosch appliances from the Lowe's Home Improvement store in Conyers, GA. #1076 under the pretense that I would receive a $300 rebate by mail in 6-8 weeks. Well it is January 2012 and this purchase was made in October 2011. Rebate form said to allow 6-8 weeks and it has been around 11 weeks. I have called for the past three weeks and they keep saying its processing, please allow an additional 3 weeks. Well i was getting ready to plan a privacy fence project for February 2012, valued at about $4500. Guess what, I will be going to the H--- D----. Bad business is bad business. I will not shop at businesses that do not honor promotions. |

I purchased a Bosch Dishwasher on 10/31/2011. ( The last day for the free dishwasher installation rebate) from the Lowe's Home Improvement store In Shawnee Ks. My rebate was for free installation. I paid Lowes the $112.00 for Installation and I was supposed to be rebated by Bosch in 6 to 8 weeks. Lowes told me to fill out my rebate form on line because it would be faster. I did then after finishing the form, it posted that it was received on the day that I bought the dishwasher (10/31/2011) because I went right home and and filled it out that same night. Two weeks later I got back on line just to check on my rebate and it said that it was Invalid. I got the run around on the phone from 4 different Bosch Customer service employees not knowing anything about the rebate and telling me that I need to take it up with Lowes! Lowes keeps saying that I need to take it up with Bosch! A week later ( third week ) I received a letter from Bosch stating that my rebate was invalid and I need to send in a copy of the receipt and the letter by the 24th of December 2011. The very next day, I sent a copy of the receipt, the letter, a copy of the rebate form filled out with the date of purchase, a copy of the bar code still on the card board box that the dishwasher came in and a copy of the extended warranty. Three or four days go by and I checked on line again and it said that it was received on 12/19/2011, I thought oh great, I got it there in plenty of time! Well I got back on line on 12/24/2011 just to check on it again and it said NOT received!!! I got back on th phone and called several Bosch C/S employees and they took turns giving me phone numbers that were NO LONGER IN SERVICE!! I finally got to the last girl and she said that there wasn't anything more she could do and basically said sorry but there is nothing else she can do! No other phone numbers to give me to call. Then I got on line and discovered that this same thing was happening to several people!!! I'm beginning to think that this might be a case for a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT!!! Any ATTORNEYS out there up for it?? |
