I visited www.lowermybills.com and inquired about re-finance rates. Was lead to believe I'd get info immediately on the site. Once I provided some personal info so they could determine my rates instantly, the site said "we'll have some companies contact you with the contact info you provided." Nice. So they sent my info to a bunch of companies who called and emailed me incessantly for a few weeks. That finally stopped. THEN the snail mail started. Junk mail non-stop for days on end now from random mortgage companies, from companies claiming they can lower my interest rate, companies who have looked up my current loan balance, and included that in their junk mail solicitations. It's completely ridiculous. I'm furious this happened. I was lead to believe 1. that I would only be visiting their website and would get info on re-fi rates. 2. Then asked to provide personal information in order to get the rates instantly from the website 3. Then once that was provided, told that I would be contacted via phone/email about the rates 4. Then the emails and phone calls non-stop 5. Then the junk snail mail started.

Lowermybills.com will sell your contact info to spammers and junkmail lists.
