Worked 3 days in Venice for Love Unlimited Festival for " T-Love". Event was unorganized & had no attendees except for a few of those who submitted their films, scripts. Even though it wasn't necessary I fulfilled his request of shooting 1000+ photos. I went out of my way to show him the images on my camera & laptop that I have met his standards. I turned in ALL images at the end of event. He had my wait 3+ hours, meet him at a dinner to tell me he was going to only pay me half since the images were CR2 & his "graphic designer aren't capable to open them which was a poor excuse. He gave the check to a local volunteer to hold onto the 2nd half. Upon completion to converting hours of photos to Hi-Res JPEGS he still was not satisfied & made the request to convert images to 300 dpi without any rational reason. After wasting over a day repetitively explaining that the conversion would ruin the images & was NOT necessary since it we are working with digital to print , NOT a scanned images. He agreed to 240 dpi, which took me additional hours..& then requested I send them via email to him which took me an additional 3 days. Immediately upon completion of the transfer & after discussing that I was going to arrange a time the next day to pick up the check he called the volunteer to ask that she rip up the check since he placed a stop payment. I regret working with T as it has been nothing but a nightmare. I have already mentioned to him he is not authorized to use my images which has not stopped him. & I still haven't been paid.
