Lone Mountain was the only source many of us have that desire to become Owner Operators. Bad credit and a very limited amount of cash on hand. This was my situation and I'm sure that of many others. There are reports that people are happy with the tractor they got from LM. And then there's the ones that received the lemons. When Corporations the size of Tyson Foods and others turn over their fleet to newer trucks there is a reason. They drive their equipment into the ground from the time it is new making as much as possible from the equipment and spending as little as possible on it. They know when it's time to do the dump the used equipment. And we the truckers with the urge and limited resources run right over to gobble up our only possibility of having our desire come to reality. And we end up consuming the garbage left behind by the big corporations. And Lone Mountain Truck Leasing is the cannibal that resources the garbage that the Corporations no longer want.. Big Corporations have only one job to do and that is make as much money for their stock holders as possible and to Hell with the country and it's people. I got my lemon from Lone Mountain and Cresco Capital. It turned into another sucker (myself) being taken to the cleaners. My fault ! Not Lone Mountains they are blood suckers and the world is full of them. And I provided the blood voluntarily. I don't know what they do with the junk when they take them back but, I believe there are probably great tax laws that insure there is a profit with the loss.
