| LiveAuctioneers.com is a scam. They hide behind their affiliates and a questionable website agreement. They were involved in stealing over $6000 from me under the guise of an affiliate on their website. I have never recieved any merchandise or services from LiveAuctioneers or anyone involved in this dispute. They allow affiliates to auction off items. In this case LiveAuctioneers.com took blind bids that were not made by me and that just "magically" appeared on my website profile. I was then harrassed like I have never seen before. LiveAuctioneers.com and their affiliate, Western Asset Reserve then worked with an unscrupulous collector named Lazarus Financial Group to call and threaten me with lawsuites and legal trouble if I didn't give him $6000 to give to Western Asset Reserve and LiveAuctioneers.com. LiveAuctioneers.com is a SCAM. Western Asset Reserve is a SCAM. Lazarus Financial Group is a SCAM. Stay far away from any of these companies. I had $6000 stolen from me and I was threaten with charges up to $29,000. This is without ever having been provided goods or services. LiveAuctioneers.com is a SCAM |

| As of 2nd day after posting, LiveAuctioneers.com has provided no resolution to the fact that their website was the vehicle of a vicious scam involving over $6000. Their affiliate or client, Western Asset Reserve. The company Lazarus Financial Group harrased me into giving them over $6000 to give to Western Asset Reserve and LiveAuctioneers.com. LiveAuctioneers.com took bids that I did not place and in the end I was scammed out of over $6000 |

| I just received an update from BBB regarding Western Asset Reserve and www.LiveAuctioneers.com. Both have an F rating with BBB. Huge SCAM Stay far away. BBB cuoldn't even get a response from Western Asset Reserve. Again, People, these companies are scamming people on the internet. Please someone investigate the business practices of these companies. | BBB finally received word back from Western Asset reserve on their part of this scam. Their official response was that the reason they scammed me for $6000 on www.LiveAuctioneers.com is because of my friend choice. They seriously said I need to pick better friends.??? They scammed me because of my friend choice? We didn't make these bids! |

| It seems to me your issue is with Western Asset, not Live Auctioneers. Any you need to take some responsibility for letting your friend use your ID. |

LIveAuctioneers is not a scam. One of two things happend. Either the AUCTION HOUSE scammed you, OR you bid on items and did not pay your bill and were demanded to pay the minimum cancelation fee of 25 percent that almost ALL Auction houses charge. And then after you paid it you went on an internet rampage. Either way your problem is with the auction house you did business with not LiveAuctioneers. If an ebay seller does not send you merchandise its a civil matter between the two of you. It has nothing do do with ebay except that ebay may decide not to allow that person to sell items anymore.

Live Auctioneers is definitely a scam. Well, most of the auction houses on the site are fake and selling items with illegitimate certificates from questionable sources. Most of which have numerous claims against them. The auction houses use a terms of service agreement that, simply put, says what ever you read about the items is strictly not to be believed and will not hold up in the case of any authentic certifying authority appraising the value of the item upon which you are bidding. (or something to that effect) I would not use them if I were you. There are one or two auction houses that have live auctions, but you really have to do a lot of research before you attempt to bid on anything from live auctioneers. I purchased some fine jewelry that they stated was valued at $24K in an auction with a certificate showing the appraised value. I will tell you what this one comes up with. However when I contacted the auction house they stated outright they do not stand behind the certification and appraisal. It is sent to a third party for appraising and certifying. For that reason they believe they should not be held accountable.

Seriously, what has the world come to? This is so much like giving our bank pin number to your friend and when money goes missing blaming the bank's security because you had money in their bank...
Your friend has your info and they may have very well bid on stuff... So please stop winning and being irresponsible. Don't point fingers when you are the first person to blame.
Learn to not give away your PERSONAL login info to your family or friends no matter how close and trusting they may be.
I have bought items from Liveauctioneers and have no complaints.
You or someone using your personal info have bought items and now you're not willing to pay for it. Grow Up Please. |
