Litton Loan Servicing sold our mortage to Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC. Without notification from Litti
10th of Jul, 2010 by User637366
Litton Loan Servicing sold our mortage to Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC. Without notification from Littion Loan Company, the loan had been sold, and our payments were behind 7 months. Our payments were not behind at all, and the payment for that month had already been was mailed to Litton. We recieved a phone call fron Ocwen on a Sunday evening @ 10:pm informing us that our mortage would be foreclosed on the following Business day. On the next business day, my wife called Litton and was advised that our payment had been forwarded to Ocwen. My wife spent eight hours on a conference call with Ocwen and Litton. After going over account numbers and routing numbers. Finally Ocwen conceded, that they had recieved the payment, and the account was current. About eight months later, it started all over again, Ocwen claimed we had missed a payment in February of 2004. My spent another 6 to 8 hours on the phone with Ocwen once again. They went from a missing payment from two years before, to Lender Placed Insurance, to paying the property taxes. Each time proof was sent to them via, registered mail, via fax, via e-mail. They kept doming up with numerous reasons as to why our account was behind. They forced us into a forbearence payment plan for 16 months in order fro us to retain our home. In 2006 we paid out the forbearence. Almost exactly 8 months later the same thing came up, and we were forced into another forbearence. once that one was paid out. Once again they (Ocwen) came up with the same thing. This time we went into a modification and our payment and interest payment was reduced. Now we ae right back in the same place, with one difference. We have been served with a forclosure from the Sherff's Office, recieved a letter from Ocwens lawyer that a sale date of March 30, 2011 has been set. My wife begain a modificattion in October 2010. We were told a HAMP modification had been approved and we would recieve notice in the mail. This will be a second modification, allong with $5,000.00 added to the Principal. I believe they will offer the same type of modication and add another $5,000.00 or so to our Principal. This loan was a simple interest loan, we paid taxes and insurances. Ocwen has Escrowed the loan and shows it minus $4, 565.78. This time it happen according to Ocwen because they paid the taxes and homeowners insurance. Then there was also, payments due from one of the previous forbearence that had not been paid. They have charged for Home Inspections (No one has been here to inspect my home) Legal Fee's and any other thing they can come up with. I am going to talk with a counselor, that has already been through the same thing with Ocwen. it would seem that the AG in NC would become involved and help us poor people who live on a fixed income. Somebody please help us!!!!!
