First, you shell out $250 for SEO Power Suite that includes 4 tools: 1. Rank Tracker 2. Website Auditor, 3.SEO SpyGlass 4. Link assistant. It works. For 6 months. Next, six months later... Surprise, surprise! The software stops working. Too late for refunds. You've been had. It turns out, you should have studied very carefully the info at the bottom of this page:

You will find that link only if you read the rebuttals posted here by a link-assistant employees posing a s a happy, trustworthy consumers (by the way, note their attitude). So be prepared to spend $299.95/year to keep your SEO PowerSuite running in addition to $250 you have spent only half a year ago. Not only that, they charge 8% "tax" at the checkout and it's not included in price nor mentioned anywhere. Thus, if you are purchasing their "Live! Plan for the full SEO
PowerSuite pack" (4 tools) it will cost you not even $299.95/year, it
will cost you $299.95 + $24 tax Again, it isn't obvious from the advertising and product description on link-assistant.com
If it were obvious, you wouldn't be reading all these scam reports about SEO PowerSuite including the one you are reading now and I wouldn't be wasting my time writing it. Bottom line: for each of SEO PowerSuite tools you can find a comparable alternative where you will pay either for software, one-time, or for a monthly web site subscription without any surprises. This is not about the product, which is OK, it's about the way it is being sold where a consumer is given the role of a sucker. |

I understand that you feel dissatisfied because you missed some important info on our website.
However some of your statements are not true. Let me explain.

In fact, the page with Live! Plan prices is linked-to from nearly every page of our website, including the homepage www.link-assistant.com. Please check the website. There is a link with the anchor "Software prices".
Furthermore, the information about Live! Plans IS provided on all "Order" pages. Please check any of the order pages and you will see that.
Just like I said, I am sorry that you missed this info, but I do not think that it is fair to blame our company for this. The info IS on our website and is easily accessible. More to that, for people familiar with SEO it is a common fact that SEO software required paid updates like the ones called Live! Plan. So the issue results from your not knowing the specifics of the industry + your not reading the information on the website carefully.

You are saying that you have purchased SEO PowerSuite for $250. Which makes it obvious that you own a Professional version of SEO PowerSuite. Not please check the page with prices again:

You will see that Live! Plan for SEO PowerSuite Professional for one year costs $124.95
It is not even close to $299.95 you are writing about.
I understand that you don't wish to pay any more for your SEO software, but I do not think this is a fair exaggeration when you nearly triple the price. For a person who is familiar with our company, this is an exaggeration ok but for a new personm this is a misleading piece of information which is not true. Are we here to lie about the companies we do not like?
We've got over 200 thousand satisfied clients who understand that good SEO software needs these paid updates like a car needs gas. I see that you agree that the software is of good quality. But unfortunately, it is a problem for all SEO software providers, including our direct competitors: too many people still refuse to understand that with SEO software, you need to pay for quality continuously. It is not a one-time payment like a Windows license. It's more like an anti-virus software that also needs constant updates.
And, once again - the links you haven't noticed have been on the website for years, so I wonder if you would please stop lying about this in public. |
