| This individual is the 'casey Anthony' of newfoundland breeders. She will not be honest at all about the puppies she sells. Has numerous defects and knowingly continues to breed. She has vicious dogs among other things. One female even killed another. I have had dealings with her, Lisa Martins, and she was not honest at all. She even involves her boyfriend Doug who lies for her. Buyer beware.....!! |

| I know for a fact that this report was filed by another breeder who has something against Lisa, , she already has filed another report in the past, and none of it is true. Lisa is the one who got burned previously by this other breeder, who is obviously out for revenge. Lisa's dogs are beautiful and have a wonderful temperament, I have visited her kennel, it is clean, the dogs are well cared for, and this other breeder is out to get Lisa. NONE of of the above statements are true. Furthermore, it is absolutely the farthest thing from the truth to say that one of her bitches killed another bitch. It didn't happen. I will be glad to give references to anyone wishing to know the state of Lisa's kennel and her dogs. | I too know the breeder that posted this. We acquired two Newfies from this breeder both had to be put down. The first one due to verified hip and shoulder issues and the second for similar reason (he also became exceptionally aggressive). When confronted with this breeder, Julie Thomas of Windancer Newfoundlands, LLC refused to live up to her contractual obligations. Julie is a vicious breeder who KNOWINGLY sells Newfoundlands with hip issues then hides behind her LLC saying she has no $$$ to meet her obligations. Julie will undoubtedly attack this story and you may believe her, but from experience caveat emptor - beware!! Alas, Lisa seems to be the focus of Julie's rage - anyone who reads this proceed with extreme caution!!! |

I too know this is all false. Lisa lives for her dogs, they are her kids. I have been to Lisa's kennel, very clean & organized . Very happy dogs !
Very sad that Julie could say this of another Breeder.
Lisa is the one how got the 2 bad dogs from Julie and is at a lost.
You could never believe this if you have been to Lisa's kennel or talked to her on the phone when enters her kennel. You would then know the Love she has for her dogs & them her. |

| I have dealt with Lisa for years and have complete confidence in her and her dogs. There has never been a time if I had a problem with a Newf, whether it was hers or not that she has hesitated to help. She lives and breathes for her dogs. Her kennels are immaculate and she will retire a dog from her breeding program rather than put the dog at risk. She is careful about screening with whom she places her dogs, if she feels it will not be a good fit you will not leave with one of her dogs. She is continually on the search for healthier food for her dogs and if she finds a new diet which will benefit them she doesn't hesitate to change her existing course. for lying and causing trouble...All of you above 'friends' posting at her urging won't be friends for long...you'll be just like the rest of her 'ex' friends that have contacted me...beware of your Karma ! |
