Complaint Description: I purchased a gun from liberty guns on 7/23/11. The sale mans name was nick. I ordered a Remington 11/87 sportsmans shotgun synthetic stock, with the cantilever scope mount rifled barrel included. Nick whom by the way owns the store also,well he goes and orders a plain rifled barrel claiming that remington was out of cantilever barrels. i personally spoke with dan of remington arms co and he stated there is no way we were out of cantilever barrels, that it must just be the web sight he uses. I spoke with gander mountain and they had access to catilever barrels also. Dan can be reached at remington arms co at 1 800 243 9700.So Nick orders the wrong barrel to start with, when all of the gun arrived at his shop he said he will just send my rifled barrel to his gunsmith tony to weld on the cantlever scope mount I finished paying nick the $1155.10 for my gun So this was back in July 2011. The date today is monday September 28,2011.That makes it over 3 months since paying for the gun, and i still have not recieved the rifled cantilever barrel i paid for. I've begged , pleaded, called demanded my money back nothing has helped. I found out where his gunsmith works i stop by all hours and he,s never there. I left notes on the gunsmiths door, to stop any work on my gun barrel and return it to nick or myself. I left the gunsmith my ph # and the serial # to my gun which by the way is serial # pc891025 the gunsmiths address is 1704 church st # 7 west palm beach fl. I have no idea what else to do and am really being taken advantage of, I hope you can help me. Nick called me on the 26 of sept an stated that he finally got my gun barrel back from his gunsmith and that gunsmith had done nothing to the gun. I was flabergasted !!! AFTER THREE MONTHS NOTHING !?! I said all that time,[ nick cut me off and said time means nothing ] I said you got to be kidding me. Nick asked you know a gunsmith don't you? I said yes Remington Arms Co he said no i am not paying anymore for anything. I said you have paid nothing yet an promised me that you would pay for the scope mount as you wrote on your reciept. I guess all I can do is take you to count he said i am really tired and do not feel like discussing this, just come pickup your barrel. so I hope you can help thanks. |

I placed an $80 order with this company’s website on the 26th of November. After more than 2 weeks of no package or messages I sent an email to this business on the 13th of December. Money was exchanged but my account on their site was still pending. Their response to my email was that it was on back order and that there will be a new shipment coming and that they will send it priority mail. Another week went by and my order still didn’t arrive. I sent an email on the 20th of December requesting my money back before Christmas. Supposedly there was some internal messages…saying that there was a screw up on behalf of the warehouse and that they will send my order 1st class and that I would have it by Friday before Christmas weekend. Well that never happened. On December 27th they canceled my order on my account. I sent another email on December 30th requesting to have my money back. They replied saying they have my order was ready to ship but I didn’t want it and that they could refund my money. I requested my money back. Here we are the 13th of December with no refund and no reply to my final message. I strongly discourage any electronic sales with this company. |
