LFH CONCEPTS - Chad Harpole and Candice LIES to their applicants, SKETCHY office, UNPROFESSIONAL managers Internet |
28th of May, 2011 by User458863 |
First, I got a call from a woman named Candice from LFH, also known as LFH Concepts, Inc. The told me my resume was chosen off of careerbuilder.com and her hiring managers wants to interview me. I was skeptical because I get calls from tons of insurance sales companies and that is not my specialty. She reassured me it was not insurance sales, but that it was a customer service and marketing position. That seemed more up my alley. I asked a few questions and she wouldn't give me a straight answer. What kind of HR employee doesn't know about the compensation or benefits.. isn't that their department? At this point, I know I'm not going to accept any offer with them because it's already unprofessional and I feel lied to. So I go in for the interview the following day and just as I expected there were 3 other people in the lobby... really... f*ing really!?!? I realized it was just a cattle call and she literally called everyone because the people in the lobby ranged from what looked like high school drop outs to middle aged men. I'm amused at this point. She hands me a clip board of the 6 she had out, all with the same "paperwork" on it. I filled it out, regretfully, and gave it back to her. So after all the "qualified candidates" before me go back with the manager, who by the way looks like he rolled out of bed to make the interview. The lobby ends up filling up with 2 other people in the 50 minutes I was in the lobby. I was informed it was 30 minutes total and ended up missed a prior engagement. I get the pleasure of getting a hand shack from the southern, slow, bed head manager, who couldn't carry on a conversation if it saved his life. He asked me a few questions and felt as if they were necessary and immediately asked me to come back for a 2nd interview. Exactly, because they hire everything! Which is why they don't require experience, nothing but a high school education, and a car. Pretty much, this job is a door to door, Monday through Saturday job, selling ATT Uverse to people who have no idea you are coming and you get paid 100% commission. I respect people who do these jobs, but I don't respect people who lie to get you in the office because they don't want to tell you it's commission only, or that a majority of the day is driving around or walking to go house to house. LFH, please do me a favor, and be honest to your candidates. There is nothing worse than coming into an interview, have your receptionist play a front and act like a stupid blonde. Then have the manager come in, looking like shit because you don't know what profressional means. Get a clue! |

You can't even spell. You sound like a clown. Why did you go to the trouble if you weren't hoping for a job offer? Why did you stay and miss your prior engagement at the NAMBLA meeting? Seems like you went a little far to just "amuse" yourself. You didn't get the job so now you're dogging the company. I have no idea what this company does, nor have any connection. Just irritates me when people like this try and tool places out because they were losers who weren't hired. You shoulda went to the site for 100k jobs for 100k people. The fact you wasted 20 minutes writing all that instead of applying for Wal-mart greeter shows the real you. And I have a job so I can waste time writing comments on the Internet.

The only people who support these bullshit marketing companies are the people who work for them. Looks like "TI Jaddocc" is either a manager of one of these offices or a grumpy "management trainee" who never got promoted. Do us a favor...Quit lying to get people into the door and selling them a bullshit opportunity to be completely brainwashed. Pathetic. If only you could be honest to people in the interviews instead of lying to them then obviously there wouldnt be so much bad shit about these marketing companies all over the internet. |

Truth 29, you sound like a "grumpy management trainee who never got promoted." Do us a favor, stop selling us your negative bullshit. I do work for one of these companies and I love it. You obviously were someone who couldn't handle it because you were probably lazy as shit, had a negative attitude, didn't listen to what you were told, just made excuses all the time about why you didn't hit standards, probably missed work all the time or was late all the time...so are you really surprised at the result? This program doesn't work unless you commit and actually want to make it work. You cannot expect that your going to make lots of money, just because someone tells you that you can make alot of money. I have seen people make $300 in a day, $800 in a day, $2, 000 in a week, multiple times, in my own office let alone seeing the rankings for reps in other offices. The reason there is any negative stuff written on the internet about any of these companies is because of people like you who think that you deserve 30, 40, 50K a year for no reason. What, did you go to college and get a degree? Congrads, do you want a cookie? That means nothing. I have friends who graduated with honors because they crammed a few nights before exams and were the drunkest, highest, most retarded people ever. I love people like you, because your the reason I work here. You re-motivated me to be more successful. I have only been at the office I work out of for a short time and have built a team of 5 people and have over passed people who have been here for months longer. Those people will still be successful maybe if they pick their game up, but then there are the people like yourself who get frustrated at the program because you cannot do it. Here is a secret...the reason you couldn't do it is because you thought like this (i.e what you just wrote). If you believe you have an opportunity in front of you, then it will be so. If you just think your knocking on people's doors or going into people's business selling them shit, then that's exactly what your doing. I laugh at you and thank you for being so pathetic and brainwashed yourself. The sad thing, either you brainwashed yourself or you surrounded yourself with negative people and you brainwashed each other. HAHA! |

LOL interesting story. What kind of a company doesn't say beforehand that they don't pay salaries, just a commission? I think that this company should either change its HR staff or give them some training. |

You obviously are pre-conditioned to think negatively about situations your unfamiliar with, which isn't your fault entirely. The same reason why your parents didn't tell you that there were vegetables in food you ate growing up or that some things you liked were actually healthy for you. The reason they don't do that is because people pre-judge situations before they actually experience them or "try them." Now, none of our offices will tell you it is a salary job and then say "surprise!!! It's commission." It is easier to explain how people make money and have someone observe them doing their job than just describing their job.
Some people never had a commission based job and just listen to people negative like yourself and most other people who just want to be paid $30k+ because they think they "deserve" it or because they have a degree. A degree means you paid for a piece of paper, you aren't worth JACK until you have shown experience. Some of the most successful people in the world don't have degree's and they earned their place by showing their worth versus saying I studied hard and took tests, so now I want to be paid for that. Those who have experience should be paid based upon their "actual worth, " which is shown by their performance. This is how you breed excellence and not mediocrity.
Some people who have worked in sales know there are different types of sales and their correlating commissions. Hard sales = high commissions & Easy sales = low commissions. Hard sales would be what a recruiter earns (a.k.a head hunter) they will job place someone and get a huge commission, but go long periods making NOTHING. This would also be the stock broker, the car salesman, the insurance salesman. Easy sales would be retail, bartender/server, or service/product sales that has high demand (office supplies, energy deals, cable packages, etc.) Hard sales get high returns, it is very difficult and you have to be extremely motivated and good at budgeting. Easy sales are consistent, easy to accomplish, but you still need to be motivated and good at budgeting. Most people don't look at the task at hand needed to be generated because they have no knowledge. Showing them versus telling them gives them this opportunity.
Most people have zero experience at doing any FACE TO FACE SALES/MARKETING. If people can get into management and you see people actively doing it on a day to day basis and are able to make the money I described that I am seeing, why couldn't you do the same. The person with more responsibilities like school bills, families, etc. should be more motivated and successful because of that than the kid living in their parents basement, etc.
Most people are comfortable just doing what is easy, which is PERFECTLY ok. These are the people who want to be nurses, work for the state, etc. but these are also the people who have the least "job security." Every single company and industry on the face of the earth needs people to sell and manage people for them. It is the single most secure job there is. You write your own paycheck based upon your performance and control your opportunity. That gives you alot of power to be successful and power to make yourself fail if you aren't diligent, motivated, and mold-able.
There is a big difference between a "get rich quick scheme" and what we do. Not everybody can do what we do for one simple fact, they cannot control their own emotions and neurosis. You get out what you put in, your attitude will control your opportunity, and your social skills are what make you valuable.
Hopefully this helps answer your question and all the other negatives and excuses you have on being negative. Again, I love what I am doing and that is why I am here. I am an ENTREPRENEUR. I will live like most people won't, so I can do what most people can't. |
