LEX, Inc Thomas Andrews https://luzadas.com LEX, Inc or Luzudas.com- virtual personal assistant position is a scam, Internet |

I received an email from a friend who found the website looking for personal assistants to work from home. The salary was 24,000 a year plus benefits. Not bad for a second income and only 2-3 hours of work a day according to the website. The website look legit, so I applied. I received an email 3 days later stating I was hired for the 2 week trial period. I received no information in this email other than I was hired on a 2 week trial basis and my 1st assignment. My assignment was to track down a Russian artist and ask him if he would re-create a painting a client had purchased but it was damaged when transporting back to the states. This was my 1st red flag, since this famous Russian artist would probably not respond to my email asking him to re-create this painting. However he did respond requesting payment be via Western Union or Money Gram. I reported back to Thomas Andrews and went several days before he responded back. When he emailed me he stated the client was very excited to be able to purchase this painting for $7000.00. Since I had not been given any information in regards to being paid for these assignments I started asking questions. Every email I received from Thomas Andrews never answered or addressed any of my questions. The grammar was awful and the way he composed his sentences seemed he was not from United States. My next assignment was to research Nickel Ore and report back 10 chinese companies and very detailed information. I was not going to do all this research without a guarantee I was going to be paid. I was very skeptical from the beginning but I could not find anything on the internet showing any negative reports about this company, until today suddenly 4 other reports stated 4 other people were given the exact same assignments, and Thomas Andrews requesting they open a bank account to transfer money to the Russian Artist. All of his emails seem as if they are a template or a generic email he does not address my questions and there is no way to call him. I called the number listed on the website and left a message. I received a phone call back from a gentlemen who said he was calling on behalf of Thomas Andrews, he did not speak very good English and could not provide me any information except to wait for further instructions via email from Thomas Andrews. Please do not fall for this scam. It's awful that there are such mean people on the internet waiting to take advantage of someone. I am lucky since I do have full time job, I was just looking for some extra cash. But someone who is out of work and desperate to find a job just to be scammed out of money or even break the law, is so cruel. I hope these reports will help stop these cruel, greedy people. As far as Mr. Thomas Andrews, I have one last email and assignment for him. I want to also thank the 4 others who posted their reports, before I wasted any more time researching Nickel Ore.
