Leigh-Ann Kline Leigh-Ann Kline Weddings, Leigh-Ann Kline Unity Candles, LA Kline, Focus on Design Non-delivery, unrepsonsive, no refund Collegeville, |

I made a purchase from Leigh-ann Kline when she had an Etsy account back on May 26, 2011 for a custom monogram unity candle for my wedding in September. On the listing she says it takes 6-8 weeks to complete the order and ship out-- so the worst case scenario is that it would arrive at the end of July. Wrong. I still had not received the candle the week before the wedding and asked her to cancel the order. She was unresponsive. I never received the candle so I opened a case on ETSY. She replied with a tracking number -- which never delivered to my address. I had to go out and purchase a seperate unity candle the day before my wedding. What a headache. I have reopened my case on Etsy , however, the seller is no longer responsive and will not issue me a refund for a product that was never delivered to me. I tried to go to the Etsy sellers webpage and it appears that she has deactivated her account. However, she now has a website where you can purchase her candles. Buyer beware!!! You may not receive your product like me or a refund!!!

I purchased a unity candle from this stupid woman on Etsy. As noted in the other review, she says that they take about 2 months. I placed my order on June 25, and my wedding is December 10 (TOMORROW)...still have not received my candle. I emailed her several times. She only responded twice. Once saying that she was going to ship my item within a few weeks...never happened. Then again saying that she was going to ship "next week" then lectured me about being patient. BITCH YOU TOOK MY MONEY, DON'T LECTURE ME ON BEING PATIENT FIVE MONTHS AFTER I PLACED MY ORDER! She is refusing to give me my money back (even after she admitted to not sending my candle). I have been attempting to contact her for 3 weeks and she is refusing to respond. Unfortunately, since I paid with paypal they will only back up your claim if it is within 45 days, and my bank will only dispute the charge if it is within 60 days. I filed a report with the Internet Crime Complaint Center. If I can find out where she is located, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and with the police. This is fraud and robbery. If anyone knows where this ridiculous excuse of a human being is located, please let me know so I can notify the authorities. |

I had the same problem with her. I placed my order on June 30th. My wedding is not until March but I told her it was in January because I read reviews that she takes longer than she claims although none of those reviews ever said that she didn't deliver. In September, she sent an email saying she closed her shop temporarily to catch up on orders and that if we placed orders over the summer, we would receive them in 3 weeks. Well it is now December and I still haven't received my candle and she has not responded to any of my emails asking for a status on my order. What I didn't understand was how she was able to take new orders on her independent website if she wasn't even able to complete the orders place through Etsy.Today I tried to look on the website to see if I can contact her through there but that website is also no longer available. I opened a case against her in Etsy and Etsy notified me that they closed her shop although her shop was already closed long before that. PayPal and my bank also couldn't do anything because it was out of their time frame for disputed charges. I know she is in the Philadelphia area. I also considered filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau but it is too much paperwork and hassle to deal with in addition to trying to plan a wedding. Oh I also noticed that she deactivated her LinkedIn and Facebook accounts. She must know that there are alot of angry people looking for her. |

What a shame that she has not only ripped off but totally stressed out soooo many brides. She gives other internet vendors a bad name. Here is Leigh Ann Kline's current phone number if you want to contact her regarding your orders or refunds. 610-551-4633. I hope this helps you resolve your issues with her. |

This happened to me as well. I ordered my candle June 29th thinking that I had time. She showed me my proofs in September and NEVER shipped them. I actually called that number, and she tried to tell me it wasn't her. I was so angry that I freaked out and just hung up the phone. My wedding is January 7th. I am going to file a police report tomorrow and then contact the Pennsylvania attorney general. WE SHOULD ALL CONTACT HIM. If he gets enough complaints he has to start a case against her. |

I already reviewed this woman a couple of weeks ago and just noticed that others have responded. Thanks "Honestvendor" for the phone number! My wedding has come and gone and it was amazing but I did not receive my unity candle (still haven't). We, unfortunately, had to notify the church at the rehearsal that we were going to have to omit that part of the ceremony since we did not have the candle. To the others that have been scammed by her, I suggest filing a complain with the Better Business Bureau (although I know you are busy with wedding planning) but it really does help get the word out there that she is not to be trusted. Also, file a complain with the IC3 (Internet Crime Complaint Center). I wanted to inform you all that she did email me just a couple of days ago (not sure if it went to just me or multiple people) but here is what it said:
"Hi...
Please be advised that due to unforseen circumstances beyond my control, I have had to shut down my unity candle business indefinitely. My accountant is reviewing my records and you will be receiving a full refund of your purchase within the next 90 days. I'm sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused you.
Sincerely,
Leigh-Ann Kline"
She did take down her website weeks ago and when I would email her @leighannkline email, it would come back undeliverable. I assume she deactivated it. But she did send out that email via her gmail account (which I would also email at the same time as her other email and that would would go through). Here is her gmail account:
[email protected]
The way her email came across, it is very unsympathetic for someone who deliberately missed people's wedding dates. Also, with her stating that her accountant is reviewing her records...hmmm...could she be getting audited??? I hope so. |
