Legal Helpers Debt Resolution a.k.a. Macey, Aleman, Hyslip & Searns Contacted company to help with my debt due to medical bills. Was very much given the bums rush be the debt consultant on the phone. Just a gut feel telling me something was wrong here. So, before signing and paying their fees, I decided to do some research. Boy, glad I did. It seems that everyone is suing this company. The State Attorney General is suing Legal Helpers, for, "acting as a front to illegally collect massive fees from financially struggling consumers". The Better Business Bureau has graded Legal Helpers an F! Plus, there seem to be a number of nationwide class action lawsuits making their way through the courts. Making this report as a warning to others who might be in my position. Dont sign nothing before doing your research. My call with Legal Helpers Debt Resolution made me feel there were more worried about their fees than my debt. Now I know why. Based on what the Attorney General is saying, I would have probably needed a bankruptcy lawyer if I had signed.
