| I had been receiving phone calls from an "Unavailable" number who was leaving messages on my voicemail stating, "they are calling from the department of crime prevention and I'm accused of oweing a debt, that my case file was in front of them and I'm the primary suspect to a crime". Those were their words exactly. Then I got on the computer and googled it, I found a report on here saying they are a cash advance place. I couldn't believe it. So I called the number they left on my voice mail, and told them that if they call me again, I'm pressing charges for harrassment. They tried asking for my phone number, but they must have had it because after they hung up on me, I called them 4 more times after that, and they just picked up the phone and hung up on me. The most screwed up part is, I've never given any cash advancement place my information. Also, they are illegal in the state I live in, they are from Florida. And I seriously thought I was in some sort of trouble when I listened to this message, was concerned and freaked out. There should be something we can do about this company, they are using scare tactics and harrassment to get people to call them back. If this should happen to you, please report this. Companies like this shouldn't be allowed to do what they do and get away with it. |

| Spoke w/ Officer Mark Miller and let him know that I was attorney and wanted to speak w/ his supervisor immediately. A gentleman by the name of John Brown called posing as Mark Miller's supervisor and repeatedly said that I had it all wrong that Mark Miller was not posing as an OFFICER. I asked what police department they are with and that I wanted a direct line to investigating officer and John Brown hung up on me. The name of the company they are calling from is Advance USA. There are several of them... Mark Miller said that he is based out of Pittsburgh; however, the 386 # is a landline out of Flager County, FL. They continued to call and harass me and I let them know that I would be reporting them to the Attorney General of FL and that I knew that they were not based in Pittsburgh. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY. They will tell you that you owe them $ for a cash advance that does not exist and proceed to instruct you to send these funds via Western Union. They have called several times and it is all a scam. BE SAFE!! |

| I get endless phone calls from a man name rodney young and Craig Marshall but his voice sounds the same. they are two different calls one threatening the other stating to please call back. I took care of a situation similar last year. I told th e gentleman that if it is a legal matter I have not received court papers. Made sure they had an address never got papers. I called the FBI because he stated he was a special agent. I also called the attorney general office. I will stop at nothing to make sure they are charged with the crime they are committing! do not give them money or info ! DO not answer there calls ! get to know the numbers they call from and don't answer unknown or blocked calls. if someone wants to talk to you that bad they will find a way? |
