LED Outfitters HORRIBLE COMPANY! Great Neck, New York |
20th of Sep, 2011 by User872108 |
I made an online purchase with this joke of a company. I then received an email stating my order was processed and my lights were shipped. After one week I tried to call the company to get a tracking number and ensure the lights were actually shipped; however, the phone is ALWAYS busy and it’s near impossible to get through. When I finally got someone on the line I was told I would get a phone call back, but never did. Over the following couple weeks I politely tried several more times to get a tracking number and a confirmation that my order was actually shipped. Each time I was again told I would get a phone call back, but never EVER got a phone call from these people. This business seems to be a one or two man operation. The phone is ALWAYS answered by the same punk kid. His “a matter of fact†and condescending attitude is EXTREMELY unprofessional. In fact, on one occasion I called, told this kid who I was, and the next thing I heard was someone in the background yelling "HANG UP ON HIM!". Of course this kid obliged and hung up. He then refused to answer the phone after that… What kind of a business practice is this? Hanging up on your customers? How hard is it for a company to put a light in a box and send it through the mail? How hard is it to inform your customer of the status of their order? This is business 101! Anyway, after I was hung up on, I was given a tracking number. The kid (I call him a punk), told me it was shipped a week ago; however, when I checked UPS's website I learned that was a lie and it was finally shipped yesterday... What a crock! It’s shocking that any company, yet alone one that sells products to cops, has no regard for their product, customer service, or the fact that it appears they commit fraud. We shall see if my order is completed, as described and working. If it is anything but that, I intend to file an official consumer complaint with the Nassau County Consumer Affairs Department, as well as a criminal fraud report with my buddies at the Sixth Precinct of the Nassau County Police Department. Beyond that I will look into a class action suit against these idiots because I’m obviously not the only customer they have screwed with. I just wish I read up about their Better Business Bureau report (which is an "F" is you didn’t already know), and spent my money elsewhere.
