Consumer reviews and reports on scam companies, bad products and services
Lease Finance Group
Lease Finance Group (LFG) Ripoff and liers CHICAGO, Illinois
24th of Dec, 2010 by User591727
I am a small business owner. Summit
Merchant Solutions sales representative came to my store several times
and telling me I would save so much money with their company if I use their
credit card processing and check verification services.

Sales rep
told me that I can cancel the service and return the equipments within 30
days. Sales rep did not tell me anything about "non cancellable
lease" and third party company Lease Finance Group (LFG).

Sales rep
used the word monthly equipment fees and never used the word lease. I was
not informed about monthly insurance fee for the equipments and told that I
will own equipments after 60 months.

I needed
payroll check verification service for my business. Sales rep did tell me that
they do provide payroll check verification and credit card processing services.
Ten days later i found out that company doesn't provide payroll check verification
service.

Sales rep
hide the information and lied to me about the services, lease and fees. Now I am stuck with the contract for 60 months and $64
monthly payment.

Recently, I signed 60 months contract not knowing it is non-cancellable lease
and paying monthly insurance fees, Property Tax Mgmt fee and Sales tax.

I called secure check verification department (817-317-9161)
regarding check image scanner equipment set-up and happened to know that I
can't verify payroll checks. Tanya told me that secure check doesn't
offer payroll verification service. Secure check also told me that your sales
rep must have misinformed you about the check verification services.

I called sales rep to ask him why did you misinformed me about the
service and requested him to cancel the services. Furthermore, I asked him for
his manager's number but he said I can't give my manager's number.

Sales rep
told me to call Summit Merchant customer service for cancellation. I called Summit Merchant
Solutions and they told me to call LFG at 1866 781 0440 for lease cancellation. This is
the time I heard LFG name first time in my life.

I called and
requested LFG to cancel my lease since I am not using their credit card
processing and check verification equipments. LFG threatened me to ruin my
credit score if I stop paying for the lease.

LFG took more money than what they told me from my account without
informing.

It's not
right to pay lease, insurance and other fees for the equipments which i am not
using. I have also read similar stories and complains about LFG on the
internet.

I am afraid
to sent equipments back to LFG because lots of other people complained that LFG
said we have never received the equipments.

In my LFG
contract and invoice address listed is : 65 East Wacker Place, Suite 510, Chicago,
IL 60601. When i called LFG they gave me their New York address: 132 West
31st Street, 15th Floor, New York , NY 10001
