Lawyerfind Network
Lawyerfind Network, Inc. Attorney Web Solutions, Bankruptcy Lawyer Locator, DUI Lawyer Locator, Immigration Lawyer Locator, Rich Baker Ignorant about
11th of Jul, 2011 by User525838
Lawyerfind Network is a telemarketing company trying to sell directory listings and web design services to lawyers. Before they call lawyers in a target city, they buy up domain names for that city and then try to lease those domains to attorneys for outrageous prices. On the phone, they identify themselves as either Attorney Web Solutions, Bankruptcy Lawyer Locator, DUI Lawyer Locator, or Immigration Lawyer Locator depending on what they're trying to sell that day. Actually, none of these are companies - just websites run by Lawyerfind. The sales staff make promises that they can't keep. They promise top placement in Google. They use false statistics to convince the lawyers that their sites get a lot of traffic, but the only traffic is from search engines - not real people. The content used for every website is exactly the same, so attorneys can never hope to stand out. The owner is responsible for training the salespeople to push the hard sell and promise whatever it takes to get a credit card number. He is the biggest offender by telling potential clients that he can get them top placement in Google (not possible), that hundreds of visitors see his sites every day (not true), and that their website will be custom (but actually just get a template). This is one company that should NEVER be trusted with your credit card number. They once charged a client's credit card as soon as they heard he died - before the card could be cancelled!

I HAVE PERSONALLY WITNESSED WHAT GOES ON IN THIS OFFICE. THIS "BUSINESS" IS A JOKE! AS A COMPANY, THE MANAGEMENT IS SERIOUSLY LACKING. AND IT'S FUNNY TO ME THAT THEY DEAL EXCLUSIVELY WITH ATTORNEYS BECAUSE, THE COMPANY AND MANAGEMENT ARE ETHICALLY QUESTIONABLE TO SAY THE LEAST. IF ONLY THEIR CLIENTS KNEW...
LETS NOT EVEN START WITH THE BLACK HAT WEB PRACTICES THEY USE... I'D NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, WORK FOR THIS COMPANY OR GIVE THEM $1.00... LET ALONE THE INFLATED PRICES THEY CHARGE! ANY LFN CLIENTS OUT THERE EVER SEEN A RETURN ON THEIR INVESTMENT FROM THIS COMPANY???

This company also illegally sells case leads to attorneys. The contact forms on all of their directory sites make it seem that you are emailing an attorney when in fact it goes directly to the business. They then call up an attorney in the area where the leads came in from and tell them that they have leads in the area and they can have them if they sign up for their service and make a down payment. Is this not selling case leads? I am sure this is not the only sketchy activity going on at LawyerFind Network.

If you call their offices they even answer the phone as "Corporate Offices." What company does not want to disclose their business name on the phone? I'll tell you who. A company engaging in less than moral business practices and obviously a company that has something to hide.

All of these comments are true. One other thing that the owner engages in as well as some of the employees, is using a fake name or a name that they only use in the office. Trust me when I tell you it's been done, lots of times. You may think you are talking to John Lee and in fact it is Richard Baker, the owner of the place. It is true the phones are answered corporate office. It is also true that he pushes the hard sell! Yes, they will tell you whatever they think you need to hear in order to purchase. Also, over the years I have seen and heard lots of unsatisfied customer complaints. They always talk about the renewal rate being 90 percent and that they are the third or fourth largest directory. The renewal rate thing is most def. not true. One other thing he will tell you is about how he owns 40k plus domain names...also untrue. Basically to sum this all up, the owner, he is the biggest liar I have ever met in my entire life. He tells so many stories that he believes them himself. All lawyers need to advertise, I would never buy anything from these guys. The owner is also a former felon who smokes weed with employees regularly. It's the most non professional business that I ever worked for.

Sounds like a former employee(s) has it out for this guy. I have checked on this company and I have found many clients who have gotten much return on an investment. As a matter of fact many of their clients have been with them for a long time and enjoy the fact that LawyerFind Network is maintaining their accounts.
As for the felon thing ... everyone makes mistakes and learning from them is the key. Kudos to Rich for providing for his family and coming out of his troubles and setting an example to others. We need more guys like him that can show others that being successful comes with hard work and trial and error. Mistakes are problems only if continued to make them. Professionalism and honesty is all that I have been given while checking this company out. Rich was good about answering my questions, including his felony, what a great guy! He is articulate when it comes to his business and providing a list of happy satisfied clients. Which I called and got a recommendation for services... I will use this company and I recommend others to do so.

I'm so glad I found this report about Lawyerfind. I am a past client of theirs and I feel everyone should know my experience. They charged me over $700 down and $700 for six months. This included a domain name lease that I could have bought for $10. It also included a one page website. I found out later that Google hates one-page websites, especially since my site had the exact same content as many other sites that Lawyerfind creates. In six months, I never received one client from that site or the directory listing they included even though they told me that my domain name received hundreds of visitors per month. Too bad all of those visitors were search engines and porn sites. When I cancelled the service, I lost the domain name and the website. Why pay that much for something you can't keep?!

This service does not work. Their websites are worthless one-page templates. Save your money. Go to a real web design company and get a complete website for a domain name that you own. I should have known better. I spoke with Rich Baker on the phone during the sales pitch and he used a lot of industry buzz words that really didn't mean anything. I had a feeling he was making it up as he went along. Lesson learned.

I stumbled upon this while trying to research this company. As a current client I do not know if everything this site says is true but I am starting to question my investment. My "stats" on my site say that I am getting regular visits, but when asking clients how they heard of my services not a single one found me on Lawyerfind or even knew what Lawyerfind was. When I asked a computer savvy friend about the site he informed me that all the site visits were from "web crawlers" from google or something and not even real people. Also the last (and my final time) I renewed my service they tacked on a $50 image fee which doesn't seem that bad other than the fact that my website and everything stayed exactly the same. What did my $50 go toward??? O well as NY Attorney put it best. Lesson learned.

I too have fallen victim to this scam. I was warned ahead of time from a colleague of mine a few towns away who said he had signed up for this service over a year ago. He warned me that the product would not produce what they had promised. He claimed that his "microsites" never made it to the first page of google like they had guaranteed. He also mentioned that he incurred hidden fees such as a "processing fee" that was not previously discussed with his sales agent. I recently encountered this myself when I was charged a $49.99 "image fee." As much as I am paying them I would assume the images would be included with the initial price. I was not forewarned that I would have to pay an image fee as I assumed that the company would have an ample stock of photos they would draw from when producing my pages. I would also assume that if I were required to pay an image fee that I would have been able to select the images myself. The whole process has been confusing and the business seems unorganized. I was advised to do a little research on the company about their legitimacy. I came across this web site and many others and have to agree that I side with the offended. The reviews I have read defending this company seem to be fabricated, as if they were written by the staff. They do not seem legitimate. I am a little skeptical about the review by "USA Lawyer" as it seems like a vague username and seems to be written by a personal friend or maybe the owner himself. I have yet to encounter anything "articulate" come from this company. I have come across many typos, spelling errors and grammatical errors when communicating with the sales staff and even the management, either through phone or email. This company does not seem professional and I will not be recommending their service to anyone.

"USA Lawyer" is most definitely an employee of Lawyerfind Network or the owner himself posing as a satisfied client. They have also posted satisfied reviews on Yahoo and Google as well. This Company is one of the most unprofessional, shadiest operations I have ever seen. Over the phone, the owner and his employees will say and promise anything to get the sale. "Leasing" domain names for ridiculous amounts of money & putting up a "micro site" that will never see any traffic. Most times, the salesperson is sitting in front of GoDaddy.com purchasing the domain name as they are talking to the attorney. And making it seem as though the domain name is the most valuable key to getting good placement in Google. The previous reviews are also true. You don't know who you are actually talking to, because the owner and sales people use any name they want to use. And $50.00 imaging fee?? For WHAT? They use stock images from templates that have been used before. This is just a way to tack on additional fees and get a few bucks in their pocket. Don't waste your time with this company. Use a REAL web site design firm that will give you a good website, SEO and a domain name that you OWN. If you use this company, you're going to spend alot of money, see no return and walk away with NOTHING.

I was checking out some lawyer locator sites when I stumbled across a duilawyerlocator, I started to see a pattern of the microsites being developed and was wondering at what price this company could be charging for this type of program, I had spoke to attorney that uses the service and he suggested to me that the service didn't offer the number of clients that he was told he could receive using their service. You the for example "attorney" could do this from your home for hundreds of dollars less, buy a domain for 12 bucks from godaddy and have them host your website for $4.99 which can be up too 5 pages a month with similar templates, why wouldn't an "attorney" do this for themselves??????

Trust your instincts... In my opinion the complaints are spot on. As a former business associate of Mr. Baker and developer of the sites in the early days of LFN, I quickly learned the hard way. After my contracts with Mr. Baker fell apart, I decided it was time to move on and get out of the business. All that I have heard in the posts above are factual, including the use of illegal narcotics. Ironically, his office is located and owned in the same building as "Hackenberg Beutler Rasmussen & Feighner LLC". Surprisingly, all this illegal activity is happening under the nose of Findlay City Police Department. What a surprise they would get if they visited his office.

This company is nothing but a high-pressure call center. They talk fast and promise everything, but as soon as they get your credit card number, you don't hear from them again until it's time to renew the service.

Their product is a problem too. They lease domain names for outrageous prices and throw a simple one-page website up with no real marketing value. To be found in Google, a website should exist for a lengthy period of time which means you have to keep paying their super high fees or you lose the domain name and have to start over somewhere else. It would be more valuable to just buy your own domain name that you can keep forever at a cost of about $10 a year.

And watch for their credit card processing fee, image fees, and automatic unauthorized renewals. Fair warning from an actual former client: stay away from this company. If you really need this service, go to Findlaw.com or Lawyers.com.

So two guys called me today with the hard sales pitch. They directed me to a couple searches on Google where they had good placement. When I asked them for others, they said I could find more on their website.
At first it was one guy on the phone, and then all the sudden I hear another guy on the phone. I ask them to send me over a written proposal and I would look more into it. The one guy was very aggressive and said "let's get a deposit of $1, 000.00 now and we will get this thing rolling." Huge red flag was that he wanted me to make a deposit with my credit card prior to even seeing any kind of written agreement. He said "what more do you need to know, it's $1000 down and $1000 per month." I asked him how long it would take to get the ranking on Google first page and he said a month or two but "just like attorneys, we can't promise exactly how long things take." When I got off the phone, I asked them to send me a proposal in writing. I am yet to see anything. If you read the information on their web site attorney web solutions, you will find grammar issues with sentence structures and more. I don't' trust this company. I am sure there are a couple of attorneys who have done ok with them, but as a solid investment and as a company you would want to represent your image, no way!!!

Susan Henner, Attorney at Law Worst Immigration Lawyer, Dumbest Immigration Attorney, Most Unethical Attorney, Sexual Harasser of Clients White Plains, New York

Submitted: Wednesday, July 20, 2011
Reported by: Albana Ivezaj - Harrison, New York USA

I came to see Susan Henner late last year because I was out of status and was the victim of a white female smuggling ring that kidnapped me and forced me to come from the former Yugoslavia to France and then to New York where I have been forced to work in sex clubs and provide blowjobs and fellatio and sex to fat, dirty, rich white men from New York. I came to this Susan Henner to ask for help as I was in a sex slavery situation. Instead of helping me, this evil women stared at my breasts the whole time I was in her office during our first meeting, and asked me very rude and offensive sexual questions the whole time. She kept loking at my body and making me feel uncomfortable until finally she asked me to give her ten thousand U.S. dollars. I told her I could not afford this and she made rude comments hinting that we could `work out a payment plan' while winking at me the whole time. I never felt so disgusting in my life. I felt like I was being raped all over again. This woman is a disgrace and a discredit to all immigration lawyers and she should lose her license to practice law immediately. I do not know why such a disgusting person like this is allowed to practice in law. Even in Albania she would lose her license. But I hear she is so connected (her sister Janet Henner is the Chief Immigration Lawyers Association) so she never gets in trouble. I know theres other womens who also have been molested by her. Please avoid this `lawyer' at all costs. Thank you for listening to my story.

Better Business Bureau Complaint about Susan Henner, Esq., White Plains, New York

: We had services rendered by Susan Henner back in 2013 for filing for my husbands green card. At that time after the case was completed and the same day we had our immigration meeting we inquired of the attorney who came with us about having "our " original documents returned to us that they had needed to photocopy for their records and we were to, d that we would receive them by mail. After a month of not receiving the documents we called and were told they would be sent out, another month passed and after phone calls and emails sent to the office we never received our documents. A few months later we called again and were told someone would get back to us and no response. We are needed our documents returned and this week I once again contacted the office and was told I would receive a phone call, again no phone call after the 2nd call to the office I expressed wanting to speak to the attorney who helped us and we paid and she refused to speak to us. Telling the secretary that if we want our records back we would have to pay once again for our property. Which is ridiculous because we paid for services initially, also paid for the. To photocopy all our documents and now they are unwilling to turn over our papers. Also the attorney refused to speak to us telling the secretary that we are no longer clients and she doesn't have to speak to us. The customer service from the secretary as we, l as the attorney was completely unprofessional. We are entitled to our papers back especially when it was completely laziness from the office staff/attorney that we didn't initially have them returned.
