Lady Bugs/Jan Holstege Deceived and Mislead! Hudsonville, Michigan

I purchased a A.K.C Yorkshire Terrier pup(16 weeks old) from Lady Bugs Kennel/Jan Holstege in Oct,2010. I was given a full pet guarantee against anything congenital or hereditary. I was told Yorkie pup was 100% healthy. I paid $1200. My Yorkie has been diagnosed with grade 2 luxtating patellas in both hind legs.Once at 17 weeks old and again at 13 months.Est. cost for surgery $1600. per leg. Legs locked 3 days after purchase and continue to lock up to date,causing him much pain. He also suffered a left cryptorchid inguinal,(undescended testicle) requiring 2 surgeries instead of one during neutering.At 9 months pup suffered from diarrhea and vomiting. After 2 months of treatment and tests,diagnose was suspicious of Food Hyper Sensitivity. All these defects are congenital and hereditary.Cost in vet services so far apx.900. My pup is presently 15 months old and has an uncertain health future. I was offered no compensation at all from breeder to help with vet services. I'm not saying all her yorkies are unhealthy.I don't know.I'm not saying it's a puppy mill.I don't know.I met her in AnnArbor MI.I am just sharing my experience.I feel it my responsibility to give a heads up to consumers. I want no one to go through the stress, grief and anxiety that I am enduring.
