La-Z Boy
La-Z Boy Recliner is Junk! Internet, Colorado
24th of Mar, 2011 by User659645
Many years ago this company built decent furniture. I owned one.
My old La-Z Boy recliner wore out, so I bought a new, leather recliner from them about 10 years ago. Spent about $2,100.
Bought one for my wife at the same time. Hers was covered in fabric.
The frame on mine has broken 3 times.
They replace the frame for free, but charge about $250. each time for labor. This is not a quality product - the frame has broken every 2-3 years!
We threw my wife's chair out after the first time hers broke, because the fabric was shot.
It was about 3 years old when the springs let go and popped up through the seat!
Not very comfortable.
They look good, but they don't seem to hold up very well.
We are both over 50, not over-weight, and there are no young children in the house.
We take good care of you furniture, so it's not a case of abuse.
Very disappointing!
