So, I stopped at a place called "Krystal Kwik Kar" on Bellaire Blvd and talked to a guy named "Larry". He seemed to be nice at first. The first thing I asked him was if he thought my windows were too dark to pass inspection. He told me it wouldn't fail because of the tint, but that they had to do the emissions and other test to determine whether it would pass or fail. Since he said the tint was fine I was confident that it would pass, so I gave him the keys.

After the inspection, he has the nerve to tell me that it passed the emissions test and it failed because the tint was too dark. I was just blown away because I asked him if he thought it was too dark. Next, he had the nerve to tell me it would pass if I have the tint removed and he also told me how much they charged to remove the tint from each window. I said to him, "I asked you upfront and I dont think its right that it didn't pass inspection because of the tint and I asked you before you did the inspection. Then, he started getting an attitude and I explained to him that I wasn't arguing with him and that I was only trying to get him to see where Im coming from. He looks at me and says, "I know your not arguing with me because I can argue even louder. After he said that, he laughed and it irritated me so I said, "Okay whatever". When I said what ever, he got really upset and said, yeah, yeah, yeah, what ever, what ever... He was acting really childish, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I never screamed at him and only tried to talk it out with him so there was no reason for him to act like that! I asked him who was the manager and he told me that he was. I started laughing and he asked me what was so funny.

When I followed him inside, he says to me,"I dont have to tell you anything upfront. If it passes or fails you still have to pay the damn money". So, when he cursed at me, I cursed back one time and he said, "All you people are the same".He didn't hesitate one little bit! So, I told him, "I tried talking to you in a respectful way, but your not going to sit here and curse at me". Its like he was trying to provoke me so he could call the cops. I asked him, "Who are you people, so your a racist now". He looked at me and said, "Yep". I was just blown away that a business man would even talk to a customer like that. The thing that really got me was when he repeatedly asked me what I wanted to do about it as if he was trying to intimidate me.

These people will rip you off and I dont advise anybody to go there (especially black people since he has made it crystal clear to me that he doesn't like black people)!!!

He lied to me before he even did the inspection, he was rude, unprofessional, and most importantly, he passed me on the emissions part when they didn't even do the emissions test. Im sure that is illegal anyway. I was out side the whole time (except for when I went in to pay and get my receipt). The whole time I was out there, my truck wasn't running; therefore, the technician didn't do the emissions test. Some mechanics think that women are completely clueless when it comes to cars, but I know when someone is trying to take advantage. He told me it would pass with the window tint because he thought I wouldn't mind paying them the money to remove it. He thought he saw a fool but I am not going to allow him or any other mechanic to cheat me out of money. This is surely not the last he has heard from me!

I looked online and noticed complaints on the same guy and if I knew that before, I would have never taken my vehicle there..
